  1. Went to Aussie World on boxing day (first time since they put the red back, plunge and giant slide in - greaaat day!). I noticed when i was on The Plunge, the area next to it (in between the skirmish and the plunge ride) had been excavated and there was foundations for a ride being laid. It's a round ride and there is wooden steps all around it so I'm assuming this is the 'wave swinger'.

Excited! AW is such a great little park now.

  2. The ground 50cm to the left of the counter, inside a glassed in foyer, with a gate leading into the park, with the top of your shoe in the picture. And I'll check up on this after my holiday.

Could you be anymore annoying? Seriously, give it a bone. Aussie net man - Id love pics of the new wet play area theyre supposedly building but I suppose you wont see this till you get home so fingers crossed you read my mind.
  3. Constrictor2.jpg ^A "trio of corkscrew turns" indeed!

Just in case there was any doubt this wasn't the ride, i can 100% confirm it is the ride. There's a cropped pic of this ride with 2 people on a green tube with the same color slide (red and yellow) on a full page advertisement in the Sunday Mail outlining the new rides across VWTP (justice league, ice age 4d, dinosaur island and the new w&w ride).
  4. By that I ment something like Jet Rescue or even the pre-ride of Tower Of Terror(where you see a video full of "weird but true" trivia involving "thrillseeker topics")... not something "boring" no fucken way... Jet Rescue's theme and story is awesome!!! I totally agree with Dreamworld if they do that(after all TOT also has an "educational pre-ride").

lol you obviously missed the sarcasm.
  5. I've got no problem describing them as thrill rides. They can be daunting to those who don't like rides, one look at the Splash Mountain or WWF drop scares many off. Family rides to me means LTRR and POTC.

My mum thought scooby doo was a ghost train...she screamed the WHOLE time and it was the type of scream that one hears in horror movies when one is about to get killed.
  6. LOL...this was posted on their Facebook a day or two ago...What do you guys think? Slight dig at Dream World for no longer having the tallest drop tower in the world or all in my head?

Random "Rollercoaster" this week is not only the newest kid on the block, but also the TALLEST drop tower in the world!! The Lex Luther Drop of Doom at Six Flags Magic Mountain lifts you 400ft at speeds of up to 85 km/h and drops you into freefall for 5 seconds! Is that faster than a speeding bullet?

  7. I refuse to believe this lol I mean it would be amazing if it was for some big $20 million roller coaster but lets look at it from a rational point of view... they just put in a coaster last year, plus DW likes to hype up their rides and if they were spending a shit load on a new coaster we would know about it. If its true then I'll eat my words (only if its a good coaster :P)
