I just seen some concept art of the new coaster coming in 2009. Looks impressive to me. Here you all are if you haven't seen it yet. Its a Flying Coaster

How boring. I dont think they are getting anything else this year that will be big. We would know already.

Some Info and Updates on Jet Resuce: On Monday we saw Filming and a Photoshoot for the New Coaster being taken in the carpark at Seaworld. It Involved a special effects and lighting and It will be shown on TV and displayed on Buses, Bus shelters, Billboards and Park Maps. Keep you all posted.

Its not going to be covered over to Wild West Falls. Do you understand how big that area is? its just main street.

I went today and it was PACKED. Superman was shut until around 3PM Batwing never opened. Something wrong with it, they had to take the cables off it.

Something is deff going on. Im not sure what it is. There is a Huge Support Beam on the roof. Check the photo out. It really looks like a Coaster Support, not like a Building Support.

I was wrong about the date of Police Academy Closing, its the 30th April. New Show is called Hollywood Stuntdriver starting in October.

I have noticed 2 big cranes there over the past week. I Will get a shot tomorrow. I have no idea whats going on.

Just to make it Clear....This Coaster is not gonna be the one found on the picture when this post was first started.... Its not gonna be as big as that either. We are looking at a Family Coaster which will be placed inbetween Bermuda and Corkscrew... Not too sure on any water elements or which company is behind it. Apparently its opening this year.

Your on the right track gazza Forgot to mention a Temporary attraction going in where the eye was.Arrgh, if you are going to copy a competitor at least copy one of their good rides. Edit: Oh wait, DW were talking about here, copying a good ride would involve building a gyro swing or a freefall, out of the question in this case

Well, I think 'jet' would be referring to a jet ski rather than a jet plane obviously given this is SW we are on about here.
Maybe this sort of theme, it relates to the ocean after all?
Now, I don't know if Intamin have any alternate themes for their motocoaster accelerator, after all we only have one, but I do know that Vekoma offer a few different options for their motorbike coaster: http://www.vekoma.com/index.php?option=com...5&Itemid=13
one of which is a rather sleek looking sea doo type vehicle, seems to match Mattcrombies description anyway....its a derivative of the motorbike concept, its more thrilling (Vekoma have the better layouts than Intamin) and its definitely marine themed, come to think of it it would be pretty cool, SW is lacking a family coaster ever since thrill seeker left.
Zamperla are also another option if it is like motocoaster, they make alternative themes to normal motorbikes, such as the horses being used on Pony Express at Knotts, maybe they could do a sea doo vehicle also? -
More info guys. I got this name: Jet ski animal rescue.... Apperently it will be located between corkscrew and bermuda and will most likely try to incorporate a live animal element...

I thought it was shamu whales in seaworld, but its just simply a Tourist Boat which seaworld will be running to take customers out to see the whales, during the season.

Think Dreamworlds motocoaster..... but something Marine type.....to compete with Mich Doohans Here is some names I heard of: Surf Rescue Jet Rescue I wanna know if these other people say they know what it is, if they really do or not. C'mon & Spill..... Hippos are scrapped.....I know that..... There going to be having whale watching tours each year which will be run by Seaworld.

Guys this is really cool. I found out some real cool facts about it and all I can say, its very promising. Imanaged to source down some information on it all. With the Hippos, I don't think its gonna happen anymore but something else will come to the park which is way better than hippos. I will tell you what I found out later today... Very Exciting.... All I can say for now.... It is 2008.

I Think the Hippos will be coming this year. The new penguin closure is still not finished, they wanted a Christmas opening. Im gonna source some info.

I have been to Tokyo Disneyland an Disneysea and i must say, i prefer Tokyo Disneyland than the original in California. Its alot bigger, I felt the rides were made to cater for more people and more intense in some cases Eg. Splash Mountain you sit 2 in each row, and the ride is alot more better. The park is immaculate and deff has a different vibe to the original but I still prefer it. As for Disneysea. It is far my faviourte and best Disney park i have been too. The theming is so good, you completely feel like your in another world. I cant wait to go back soon.

Here is a Photo I managed to get from the day when they took the Promo Photos for the Coaster. Lots of Lighting and wind was done and then the rest is photo shopped. The Logo has been made and is Red & Black Also its gonna have a Dual Launch. Which means 2 launch parts for those people who dont know what it means and its gonna be very low to the ground from what i have heard
