Movieworld - I havent been since a work function in (i think) 06 (or 07?) but i didnt like it at all. not my thing and it smelt like urine everywhere. Seaworld - Was everything working in bermuda now? (especially both sides of the water thing through the temple (last time i was there, the left side was completely dry). JetRescue is 15-20kmh faster than MDMC. from memory the ride attendant at DW told me MDMC launches around 62-67kmh. Afaik JR is 85kmh (on both launches) Slightly off topic - has anyone else managed to nearly black out on superman? I was busy looking around from one side to the other and started to black out on the decent off the first hill. lol.

ummm.... as far as i know, screamworld caters for around 3000-5000 people as does the Halloween nights at movieworld. maybe seaworld's gonna try something? edit - ah i didnt even think of DW using the studio for that. kinda forgot they had themDuring the spring/summer months a popular theme park is showcasing a variety of acts on a Friday night to an audience of 300 to 500 people -

yea was Screamworld. was busy enough this time that they were using q4u, and the queues stopped letting people in around qtr past/20 past 9. (rides off at 10)Was this at a Screamworld event or something? Are these events still busy/popular? I have heard they are also planning to hold lots more Night WhiteWater World events this year which should be good -
not really sure but it looked like he was trying to steal clothes from one of the shops^ What happened?
one of the guards on the right hand side is holding a bunch of clothes the guy dropped. was quite funny watching the guy get airborne when he was tackled then watching security kneel on his neck/face

on saturday the basketball games had been removed from the old eureka entry. hopefully never to return. (i swear that old pool was still an old pool a few months ago)Well I am sorry if I offended you in anyway, but personally I don't think i'm talking negative, i'm talking the truth. Look at Eureka Mountain it's nearly been 3 years since it became SBNO all they've done is removed the ques and boarded it up, God at least paint a sign on the boards saying something like "OLD GOLD MINE DO NOT ENTER DANGEROUS" to at least put some sort of themeing in the area, not put a stupid basketball game. Oh don't forget the chair lift 4 years guess whats still standing the station buildings and poles that held the rides up. Sorry about the rant but i'm sick of this park still calling it's self "Australia's Favourite Park" . I work at WWW not DW never been negative about my workplace. -

go-karts have been there before and failed. as for the slingshot, there is already one on the coast, why add another?Huge rumour going around the staff something big for 2010 not sure what but being Dreamworld it will probally be Go-Karts or a Slingshot. -

the only thing thats changed is the doors. the other stuff you mention has been that way for a couple of months. as has the thing with marty and the tyre. i love the show too, although i do miss the extra carsI went to mw today and saw the stunt shoe for the first time in a few months and there have been soooo many changes and improvements!! First up at the start they now have a guy called Dave who is the producer pick three people to shoot a few shots and they then work the shots into the final video which is hilarious! Dave does a really great job of being funny and getting everyone excited. Then the drivers come out do their thing and they r getting much better now having much closer near misses!!! The big finale is improved too. The old plastic doors flopping in the breeze are replaced by real doors that swing open. The bricks fly everywhere and the whole show was more polished. The crowd was loving it much more than other times I've seen it. Overall the show has improved now to the point where I think it's better than police academy was and I challenge anyone who disagrees to go see the improved stunt driver first before they pass judgement. Only bad thing about my visit today was scooby doo there was no smoke and few lasers going. Was worth the trip for stunt driver tho what a nice surprise!! -

really that just adds 2 rides and moves and rethemes 2 others?Well it's all be painted and doesn't look as old and faded. EDIT: Also if Dreamworld decide not to put in a rollercoaster as there next attraction I wouldn't mind seeing a Huss Land of Giants built. They could do it in 4 phases like Wet n Wild did H2O Zone. yes because they would risk the fines if an inspector came through. i work as a manager at mcdonalds and i was told one other store last year got fined around $70000 for using food 2 days out of date.i heard a rumor that the bottled water at Sea World is tap water. Dreamworld is so much better coz the bottled water is real water from a hose not a dirty tap. I also heard dreamworld had changed suppliers for the Churros but a few weeks ago they found a whole bunch of the old ones in the back freezer and they are going to sell them even though the use by date has passed. Apparently the manager said just use them and if people get sick they can just say it was the rides that made them sick. See dreamworld is so much better. No way would Sea World think to do that. thanks guys the pics were all taken on a Canon Powershot SX100IS using the built in fireworks setting. from memory, the exposure time is 2s. i think they turned out pretty well since i wasnt using a tripod.
