  1. Would be cool if it was like the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shell Shock" GerstLauer Sky Fly ride where the "thrill factor" depends on how the person on the ride is feeling.... I like that idea of being able to personally control how thrilling the ride could be. I'd just lean all the way over to the left and let it rip! Now that would be something I would want to actually go back to Dreamworld just to ride....

I just watched a video and all it looked like they were doing was swaying their carriages left and right?
  2. That would a stupid move when they already have the Puss in Boots Swings. I reckon that would fit better in Movie World or Sea World. But if Dreamworld didn't already have the swings it would be pretty cool. Actually I didn't know it when up and down while on a fast swing, so I guess it would be cool if they built that. The topple tower has a similarity to the Claw and the Shockwave too so yeah lol.

  3. Wow, two big attractions opening by next year. Hopefully they have a well built BIG exhibit. Unlike the small penguin encounter, which isn't big at all. I'd rather watch them in their native habitat then if Sea World builds a small cruel exhibit. http://www.goldcoast...heme-parks.html Here's some more information, if your two lazy to click on the link here is what it says... WITH a new multimillion-dollar home featuring pristine waters and a stunning private beach, it's no wonder Sea World's seals are smiling. The Gold Coast theme park has unveiled Seal Harbour, an interactive seal exhibit due to open in time for the Christmas holidays. It will be the first seal display at the park for six years, although seals do perform in one of Sea World's marine shows.Up to 20 seals and sea lions will call Seal Harbour home and they will live it up in spacious Gold Coast luxury while spectators watch the action from see-through boardwalks.Sea World's director of marine sciences, Trevor Long, said a lot of time and effort had gone into designing the exhibit."We really wanted to make this a really naturalistic environment," he said."We've spent a lot of time working on filtration to make sure the water will be crystal clear, there will be sandy-bottom lagoons and a brilliant white sand beach for them to laze on."It's going to resemble a large oceanic environment."It will be like paradise for seals."He said it would be the largest seal exhibit in Australia and continue Sea World's tradition of world-class animal spectacles. The 3.6-million litre pool will be split into three areas, including a nursery for tiny pups.Onlookers will also have the opportunity to handfeed the seals, who eat up to 20kg of fish a day.Seal Harbour will be home to Australian and Californian sea lions and New Zealand and sub-Antarctic fur seals. You have to look at these sketches of what it's going to look like, looks AMAZING. http://tools.goldcoa...tegory_id=42239 Sorry if this has all been said on their Facebook, but I haven't gotten the chance to look at it yet as it's blocked at school.

  4. China Ally has permanently been closed for "Staff Area" hence no construction lately, also if you go where the entrance is (Bank) the fence is bolted in the ground with along side the swing gates. Mazes will be GREAT this year... I can only say that one will involve a Prison theme. ?????? With great props and decent scenes and also this year they will have a scare cam, meaning night vision cameras, which people outside can see. :P That's all for now :P

What! Do you work there? Hmmmm, I'm guessing an Arkham Asylum return for the prison themed maze with new rooms?
  5. Before I start don't get too excited as there isn't any information released yet, but last years topic started on this day 1 year ago with a full description so information might be coming very soon. What do you guys think this years will be like? Has anyone seen anything around? Any ideas on mazes and attractions? My idea of a maze would be to have some sort of Arkham walkthrough down the old China Alley and have many of the Arkham characters lurking around the roller coaster courtyard.

  6. I went to the live show Tuesday night it was pretty good but grass seats are very uncomfortable so if you're planning on getting grass seats bring a pillow to sit on. You may be able to grab some seats if you have grass tickets because before the show started there was empty seats left and Mike (Mike Goldman) was telling people to take them if they wanted to. Mike was pretty entertaining giving out free stuff and cracking jokes before the show and through the breaks so that was good. I also have to say I like Sonia she is very nice and funny when watching live. There was a few food stalls selling hot chips, drinks etc. It got big lines before the show but that disappeared throughout the live show and between breaks. There is also a merchandise shop to the right of the stage, i think that was there back in 2008 so if anyone went then it's in the same place but refurbished obviously. Overall good experience, I won the tickets but I think that it's worth the money. If you're into Big Brother like I am you must check it out at least once. BTW my favourite's are Estelle and Layla. ;)

  7. You lost intrest in Movie World after the changes in the past few years? So you lost intrest in Movie World when they released the new Green Lantern Coaster, Arkham Asylum re-theme, New Justice League ride coming September, New parades now with plots to them unlike back around 2007 when it was just music etc etc... Please explain to me why that made you lose intrest in it.
