  1. These are just people who are rubbing their hands together thinking of a compo payout. Wait for the "i cant sleep properly and its ruined my life" crap to start coming out.

The rides been cleared, fixed and is being rigorously tested again. Give the people a lifetime pass to say sorry and move on.

  2. You got to admit a studio tour could attract more tourists. In Universal, many people always come for the studio tours

You have to understand the difference with Universals Tour. Its probably the worlds most famous stduio/backlot and its still in use nonstop. Some of the tours ride sections are classic (jaws) and people love to go see it because its a changing experience on a very busy studio lot.

The old MW tour was more about showing people "how" movies were made. In 2014 with the internet and the fact everythings digital and CG and we have so many dvd extras, everyone knows how movies are made and people wouldnt be interested to se a sound effects stage in action. Universal dont rely on the making of movies like the old MW tour but they do have so many famous movies having been filmed there people want to see it and feel it. Universal's back lots are incredible.

What would a modern MW tour be like? "heres where the awful Street Fighter was filmed, heres were one of the scooby doo movies was made, heres where the terrible house of wax was made" . There just isnt a point as the studios just arent that amazing or historical. If they can stick the left over Pirates ships and sets from the upcoming movie out back then they might have something to start with.

I really dont think its ever going to happen nor is it a great idea to bring back as studio tour.

  3. I think Malestrom was due for an update, The ride vehicle it self was fine but watching the story of Norway from a boat ride didn’t really make for a riveting ride experience. When you have something like Pirates in MK it just comes of 2nd rate. I do understand people’s nostalgia for it though. That’s natural.

As for frozen being the replacement overlay? It makes total sense. The movie has been an insane hit and will be this generations of kids classic movie just as Aladdin, Lion king, Little Mermaid was for mine and the original classics were before that for each respective generation. Epcot has been creeping more and more "Disney" into the park the last few years and it’s just the natural progression and also a very smart move by Disney as long it it’s not knocked up too quick and on the cheap. It’s got potential to be a total classic for the kids and families.

  4. Turns out most the rides do parent swap and the big board out front says weather it does. Its a shame only half the staff know about it and one lady rudly told me I couldnt take my pram into the Justice league as I was entering (it said parent sawp avalible) and I said "well how do I parent swap" and she say to me you need to go back to the gift shop and enter backwards. Justic League doesnt have a gift shop exit!

We figured it out in the end. Superman and scooby we both used it on and it worked well.

  5. I got down to check out Mini Driving School today. I was very impressed with how it turned out. Everything looks amazing. The only thing is they need some sort of middle barrier to stop people crossing over into wrong lanes as it was just causing traffic jams and head ons all the time. If they could figure out a one way flow that would be better. It also suffers from MW's typical insanely slow loading time. Waiting until everyone has left the entire floor area. One staff member going around realigning all the cars to face the correct way and then finaly allowing kids back on.

I also dont see the need for the speedy taxis now. Its a bit weird having so many ride on cars. Its the shame as the speedy area is some of the best themeing in the park and I would hate to see it go.

Over all a top job and I know its no looney tunes river ride but kids will love it.

  6. The usability of the shooting system itself is, IMO the MAJOR disappointment. You just can't feel accurately the results of your actions, making the action feel unconvincing and a little awkward. I believe this could still be upgraded / improved, only if it thought a worthy investment.

This is the rides single biggest problem. I just feel like im shooting for the sake of it. I dont feel I can control what I am doing properly
