I asked about it today and they said it is opening September and that it is a kids ride (but you already knew that)

If you want to work at Fright Nights they are now hiring Maze Presenters.

Do the themepark apps need an internet connection? If so do the parks have free Wi-Fi?
-
-
It all depends on mum. Apparently they need to put the cub in another enclosure or else the dad will eat it!

A scare maze may be a good replacement for the Mine Ride. Haunted old mine theme? AVPX is being replaced with another laser skirmish (its cheaper for Dreamworld to replace laser skirmish with laser skirmish)

Speaking of theme park food on I made 2 visits to Dreamworld with my world pass and both times the food was foul. On my first visit I had a burger and chips (bad tasting burger with fries) and my last visit I had Churros and Coke combo. The Churro was double the size as Movie Worlds but tasted really bad. Both times I got lunch in the Market Place at the front.

According to a job description a new live attraction is coming to Dreamworld this year.... "Auditions - Entertainers Description

Successful applicants must be available to commence from 22nd August 2013."

Storm Coaster will be something like this...
-
Back on topic here is a photo of the Storm Coaster taken 28/6/13. Note that the lift hill is now complete which is missing in this photo.

1 - Replace Mine Ride
2 - Clean river
3 - Repair paddle boat
4 - New show for paddle boat
5 - Remove Motorcoaster
6 - Build new vintage cars in old Motorcoaster spot with excellent theming
7 - Rebuild Motorcoaster where vintage cars currently are with a new train
8 - Remove "Dreamworld Studios"
9 - Redesign the train track so it no longer goes around Blue Lagoon. Create a new "workshop/repair" area for the train.
10 - Build a new wooden rollercoaster in the space where the studios used to be. The studios can be rebuilt in the old Blue Lagoon area and a show can be added.

The croc may be from the old Koala Town located in Coomera which is now a housing estate.

Squirt the whale appears in this classic ad from 1986 as well as other animal friends...

When I went to White Christmas they made me hire a locker for Green Lantern. (I had a backpack)
-
-
All day lockers are available near the Photo Centre for $10 in coins (if you need change see the Photo Centre).
Single use lockers are available at Superman Escape and Green Lantern for $2 for 1 hour hire. These are the only rides that require locker hire. Small items are allowed at Green Lantern at your own risk. No loose items are allowed for Superman Escape. Loose item boxes are available at Arkham Asylum.

I don't know if Vikings Revenge will be extended but part of Viking currently does go under the Storm. There is plenty of space under the Storm to expand Viking's and for theming. The path to the Storm will not go underneath. It would be cool if they expanded part of Vikings near the splash zone of the Storm for a random opportunity to get wet!

I went to Sea World last Friday and made another video of the ride. The coaster section is nearly complete with just the lift hill needing to be installed. That drop at the end looks quite steep and would lead to a great splashdown!
I also found some old signs advertising the old Bermuda Triangle. Get your ride photos today!
The coaster trains have arrived and can be found covered up near the Sea Viper.
-
For any world travellers out there who miss the Bermuda Triangle there is a ride at "Movie Park" in Germany called "Bermuda Triangle - Alien Encounter" which is almost exactly the same as the one that used to be at Sea World.
-
-
Good news! Hopefully now Dreamworld will improve and something can finally be done about all those SBNO attractions, and maybe a new rollercoaster!
-
Looks huge, can't wait!

Sea World is the animal park, Movie World is the thrill ride park and Wet n Wild is the waterpark. Dreamworld is all these in one.
Possible reason Eureka Mountain is still closed

They can demolish the whole Eureka Mountain off peak. I'm sure guests will understand why the Rapid Ride / Buzzsaw is closed. They can offer lower entry prices or keep more ride open longer during the demolition (off peak). Once it's gone they can create a new larger mountain that can accommodate a simular ride that looks almost the same as the old mountain. Bigger space = a bigger, better ride experience.
