sorry you'll never convert me VR wasn't designed for people with glasses :P

Granted I've never used the specific headset that they are using, but you can wear glasses underneath the headsets I've used (Oculus DK2 and HTC Vive) no problems. Is there some reason they won't let you wear glasses on the ride? Surely if they're under the headset then it's no problem.

I think one station for SE would ruin the story of the ride. If it was one station, you leave a station, Superman saves you, and then you return to the same station where the disaster was occurring. Despite it being annoying that you have to pay for a locker if you don't have someone with you to hold your things. I remember it used to be $1 for those lockers.

Having two stations isn't really an excuse for the lockers, they could easily have a similar system to MDMC with the turnstile, or a sliding lockers system from one station to the other.

Well, I figure if I have to go below 1080p, my monitors native res, I'd rather swap my GPU than play the game under those circumpstances.

Fair enough. I've got a gtx 550ti which struggles ever so slightly to stay above 60fps in BF4 at 1080p on low, thinking of upgrading to a newer GPU and downloading more ram, should be good for a few more years off of that.

  4. Building a coaster doesn't exclude people who don't want to ride it, all the other attractions are still there.

You can build as many indoor family attractions as you like, but nothing will bring in the crowds like a massive roller coaster.

People who want to ride it will drag along their family and friends for a day at the park, and these people will still go even if they don't particularly want to ride the thrill rides. The people who do ride it will go back to school and work and tell all of their acquaintances about it, and those who want to ride it will drag their friends and family to the park.

I don't understand how people can actually be against more coasters, they're undoubtedly the biggest players in the theme park industry, they advertise themselves rather than the parks having to talk them up and advertise them.

Maybe I should start complaining every time the parks announce a kiddie ride because I want more money spent on coasters.

  5. I've only ridden it once with the effects at the top working. I was only a kid but it has stuck with me for a while.

The ride still remains my favourite in the park behind Superman, but you have to wonder how much of this love is aided by nostalgia. If the first time I rode it was how it has been operating this year and with me as an adult (legally), Would I love it as much as I do?

  6. Gosh, I don't have the time to watch that many youtubers lol. From that list I've only been watching Silvarret since I've followed him for a long time. Flabaliki has played his fair share and has made some decent stuff. I've also watched Robbaz and NerdCubed have a go but they're not particularly good, just entertaining.

  7. I wouldn't be surprised if this has been posted on this site before, but surely a really compact eurofighter like Iron Shark would be a perfect addition to Luna Park.

I'm not 100% sure on the exact restrictions the park has, but surely noise wouldn't be an issue with such a ride, it's absolutely silent.

Alternatively, I would demolish the whole park (except Coney Island, that can stay) and put a B&M Hyper Coaster in its place. :P

  8. Here's the latest stream.

Along with the terraforming announced in the previous stream, there will be a load of new coaster types in alpha 2 (coming next tuesday/wednesday), that come with an updated coaster editor and the ability to colour your track. Also, there will be new flat rides.
