Most likely just change all the old members to the new ones on signage and Big Red Car.

I agree that more should be added, but backstage space doesn't really allow it. Scooby and Superman's buildings confine it.It is usually quite empty in that whole area near the Arkham Asylum, It is a large space, but it doesn't lead to anywhere. It is more of a courtyard area. I reckon something could be put here.

That makes sense, hopefully one day they do have a reason.I think the placement is fine, because you don't put big food outlets in a low traffic area like that. The place it is on, is one of the main routes in the park, between Main street, and Scooby/Wild West. Families with kids etc wouldn't typically have a reason to wander down near Arkham at the moment.

No actually, Dictionary.com left me wondering why Gotham City Cafe would need to be re-equipped?Google/a dictionary didn't help?
Thank you, I still feel like its placement is a little odd. Especially when there is an empty Arkham area!refurbished with a new/updated theme.

I'm not familiar with the term "refit" Explain? It was refit in the last year or two, so I don't think it will move.

Whoops! But still, why don't justice league or superman? (Not sure about Arkham)Scooby Doo and Wild West Falls have roofs.
Sorry, ceilings probably is a better word. And yes, maybe it's something technical like that.Almost all the ride queues have roofs, I think you mean ceilings? Don't know, but if I were a betting man, I'd put a fair chunk of money on it being to do with the huge cost of installing fire suppression equipment in ceilings.
-
I do admit, the new Arkham area is amazing and I would love to see something more added! (Maybe move Gotham City Cafe as well?)
-
I noticed it at the park the other day, none of the queues have a roof over them. The walls just stop and everything is painted black up to the lighting. Is this maybe how they save money? Justice League was built with only 9 million, maybe this is one of their techniques? Anyone know?

I hope they get rid of the stupid Scooby Doo making of video in the queue for spooky coaster first! The amount of time I have seen that thing and wanted to punch Matthew Lillard in the face! The line audio for AA is so painful, especially with the phenomenally slow loading times. Wonder if they'll get enough complaints to change the line audio like they did with Green Lantern.

I feel like Movieworld is already crossing the line with the amount of DC attractions, so I think avoiding Batman is a good way to go.
-
Sounds good, but I think Scooby is a worthy replacement. Thanks for the link!I believe there was 4 or 5 theatres running at a time with a fairly large group in each

10 minute pre-show? Must have been pretty low capacity per hour. You missed out. Wasn't so much a ride as it was an experience. Really amazing stuff. You sit in a cinema and watch 10 mintures of film only to have gremlins start taking over the projector and an employee running in screaming saying that gremlins are running wild. They escort you out a back entrance on a cart were you see the gremlins have taken over everything. The animatronics were awesome. I miss it so much.

I'm obsessed with theming and detail to the point where it ruins my days sometimes, so please believe me when I say a know a bit about this subject. I went to movieworld yesterday and have to admit, didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised, especially with the new attractions! Arkham and Justice League have amazing theming and their queues are entertaining enough to keep me from getting bored. The facades are nice too! LTRR was my old favourite ride because of it's great story, but Arkham has taken the cake! In my opinion, MW has only got better lately and are finally in the right path! But then again, I never rode Gremlins.

I know I'm a bit late but I just want to point out Looney Tunes have a new show on Cartoon Network so they're not forgotten, they are well known. After going to Movie World yesterday I realised only one ride I rode was not DC themed. I love all the DC rides but I still feel they should include some different themes. So Looney Tunes would be perfect right now! A walk through attraction is something used for things like Harry Potter and Narnia which has unique environments, Looney Tunes was always drawn with buildings exactly how you would see in real life. No real appeal to enter their world. A family ride is define telly necessary for that space because right now, Justice League is doing all the work.

That makes sense, good idea! And I was talking scrapping everything but the building, then changing Facade. But you could work it such that upon entering the building, that marks leaving the WB kids area and the start if the new themed area indoors, so not breaking the theme at all. Also, how would you make the Scooby doo coaster fit a Hogwarts theme?
Happy Feet isn't small, not in Australia at least. What about Ice Age then? That's huge! And it could still follow the same type of attraction.Fixed. Happy? It was a typo. But what at MW comes off such a small brand? DC Comics The wild west LT Shrek PA LW Scooby Hell even Gremlins had a cult following.... And even though JTTCOTE could be classified as small, it was just a temporary cash cow....
-
What's L? And Happy Feet is a popular Aussie Film, I think MW could profit from adding a small attraction based on the films. They had the 4D show for a while.Happy Feet belongs at SW. L, however belongs at MW because its not animal based as it may seem. It's actually comedy based. And also the HF franchise is no where big enough to warrant something to be done by MW.

I meant re-do the facade as Hogwarts, much taller in scale. And the LTRR building would work but would break the theme of the WB Kids area. That's why I said Scooby. Maybe they could even add some Happy Feet and make it a complete animation area?I don' think you'd get licencing for a wild mouse coaster to become a Harry potter theme...Maybe if it were Gringotts themed? Anyway, the current castle facade is nothing like Hogwarts. I mean, if you really wanted a potter ride, why not just make the whole Looney Tunes building a potter ride / indoor potter themed area?
-
For the LTTR replacement, maybe something to let folks know where the looney tunes live? like an elevator drop ride in their apartment tower? And Scooby-Doo is great, but the movie is dated. I kind of always wanted Harry Potter indoor coaster for their, it baffles me why Warner Bros aren't utilizing their most popular franchise!

This is my first post so sorry if I has been discussed already but I got to wondering what will take the place of the huge show building housing Looney Tunes River Ride now that it's closed? I'd like to see something Scooby-Doo (Cartoon not Movie) and then replace Spooky Coaster with Harry Potter (Hogwarts Castle Facade). Any Ideas?

If you're doing the Grand Canyon I reccomend flying over to the Arizona side. The Nevada side is no where near as amazing. If you do fly to Arizona be sure to stay the night. It's a great experience there when you don't have to rush. Check out the Holiday Inn Express in Tusayan, a small town just outside the Grand Canyon national park. The hotel prices are much to steep in the park. And I agree with @djrappa Blue Man Group is the best show in Vegas!
