That's great to hear it's open. Can you tell us about it? Any parts to it we haven't seen so far?
Not so much seen, but the sound effects for each zone is pretty neat too!
-
Well they were setting up a stage and tables with dinnerware on them and I ask what the screen were for and they informed me they they are for tonight's function
-
No sorry, I'm 183cm tall and can fit in it easily and the cars are quite spacey and large
They go a pretty descent speed, faster than speedys taxisThis is good news, but maybe a bad idea if any rowdy fellas want to cause trouble.
How fast are the cars?
-
Also it is for all ages! As long as you can fit in the cars
-
No, I just saw it today and the workers said it is now opened. Just a soft openning
-
6 long rectangular projector screens have been hung on the roof at the top of Main Street around the big screen ( 2 on each side of the screen and 2 in front of the screen)
This is for a function on, no relations to fright night
-
You all know it opened today?

Wait wait wait... back up -
Ifrit - do you seriously and honestly believe that they would take the few hazers they have in the scooby disco room out, thereby ruining one of it's better effects, so that they can fog up the park for Hallowe'en?
- They won't be needing to do that for almost 4 weeks... why remove them now?
- The smoke produced in the scooby disco room is thin and hazy across the entire room
- the smoke produced outdoors (where it has to contend with wind) is thick, dense and is released often, and with a lot of noise
- The few inside Scooby wouldn't be sufficient (firstly as they're probably the wrong type), to smoke up the entire park... so why go to the effort of removing equipment in a permanent installation, when you're still going to need to hire in more of them anyway?
It was just a guess, calm down

Anything bright you shouldn't look directly into, a little common sense! The lights in there project random patterns, that's what you should be looking at! I'm glad they finally updated the lasers and I'm guessing no fog machine in there at the moment could be because they could be using it for fright night or installing a new one

They have just finished filming the ads for fright night, so wait a couple of weeks

I don't understand some people on this site, I thought everyone wanted to know new things and what's happening. There's been no breach of contracts at all, if you ask around here most of them tell you what's happening without giving away too much info. Just be excited or don't bother commenting
-
I really hope its doesn't involve batman because we already have to much batman related rides and a show. I just wish movieworld was more than DC superheros, looney tunes and Scoobydoo. The only ride still based on a movie is Scooby doo spooky coaster and when that goes we've got "superhero, Looney tunes world." Feat Hollywood stunt show and wild west log ride.
Totally agree with you, it should be more movie themed
But it's not a ride, it's just something special for his 75th anniversary
-
Just think of old batman days at Movieworld, can't say too much because they haven't done the media release
-
-
It hasn't changed much and no new buildings, just a couple of planter boxes
-
Well I did hear that the western section is being planned for a redevelopment within the next couple of years
-
Well I've just found out what is happening, they are doing something special but I can't reveal what it is. But I'm excited to see it!!!

Source?
People who work there in events

I don't mean a ride just something special
