Talking about getting things done, I noticed that the Baldwin steam locomotive had been moved to the back of the shed, and someone was working on the engine. The wife kid and I will be very pleased and even return/ buy a pass if this loco returns to service even if once a month like last year.
Dreamworld staff have said they hope the new driver comes on board, so it can be run for the upcoming school holidays.

If you people go into whitewater world, 3 of the old carts are sitting next to the wipeouts boom.

Photo from Thrill Zone InternationalApparently this is a photo of what looks like Intamin track pictured today at Dreamworld by 'Josh D.'Holy Crap!?!?!?!?!?!? I definitely did not see this coming whatsoever. Also it looks as if the colour scheme would be in line with Kung Fu Panda or something, with the red and yellow. Any ideas where these could have been taken?Edit: Something interesting to note is the double spine on some of the track pieces, indicating a high force/load section of the ride (more extreme). This was first introduced on Giga coasters but not sure if using the double spin has carried over to newer Intamin Blitz or Mega-Lite type rides?
THIS IS NOT AT DREAMWORLD!!! Download the latest version of google earth or simply ride on the Giant Drop. There is know were in the park that LOOKs like this. Not even carpark B located behind big brother as it is fully gravel not pavement.

From the Sydney Morning Herald:
The West Drop was stopped due to routine technical difficulties, however the East Drop was stopped half way up the tower due to maintenance men working on tower.
As you can also see from the picture the West Drop has no overhead restraints as they are currently using a green screen in the station for Dreamworld's latest ad / commercial.

Hi all,
Dreamworld have had a total of 4* steam train driver/engineers. As of last year there is now only one remaining. His name is Peter and last night (29th NOV) he celebrated his 30th year as a driver/engineer for the Dreamworld railway and it is rumoured the steam train will make a return for the Christmas school holidays🚂
