Interesting to see excuse after excuse for the poor attendance but the fact is the attendance was poor despite being on a) a weekend and b ) school holidays. Yes, the thrill rides are closed, but there are deeper reasons for the poor attendance, especially since young families ALONE should've filled the park.

Whilst Parkz is a site primarily known for its discussion forums that are not exactly welcoming to newcomers, this is for tourists and locals.True, they're vile to newcomers - not even talking about myself. I think this site is going down like twitter. I'll be on the lookout for good alternatives to contribute to.

Interesting, you'd think families with young children would alone be able to make the park full. But apparently the park now is relying on teenagers, lol. You couldn't make it up.

Give them time to plan their recovery. It's not going to happen overnight, but it will happen. We have so few parks here, you'd think you'd be a little supportive.

I may have a slight bias against Dreamworld at the moment but as you've pointed out, this thread is based on the facts and is definitely a valid thread up for discussion. People sure are touchy about their favourite parks around here.

Today we saw the attendance for D/W at just 1200 and WWW at 700, which is significantly quieter for the first official day of school holidays and also a weekend day. Even though this has been promoted for almost 2 weeks, it failed to get the crowds they were likely anticipating. So...can D/W ever FULLY recover from the tragic death of 4 guests? Let's discuss.

Of course the turnout wasnt flat out terrible (even though it was pretty close to terrible), people still have their passes they can use lol. I guess we will see in a year's time when the passes run out whether or not it's going to have a future. They'd want to have a massive ride announcement by that time or it'll be game over.
