  1. In all honesty, Sydney is a bit of a shitshow.

I know some are very much eager to get updates of this coaster, but just let it be - you'll get to ride it... someday (only if a CERTAIN part of the population wrap their heads around the idea that anti-lockdown protests ≠ no more lockdown).

Perhaps somehow getting in touch with a construction worker who's keen to send updates could work (by all means, don't stand outside the fence and yell for their numbers 💀)?

Just don't take my word for it, Sydney had the chance to avoid this mess.

  2. After re-reading the T&C, I came to realise that it does look to refer to F&B and merch items as someone stated before.

Like what you said, perhaps it would be nice if Dreamworld offered discounts to their spinning seat - and I wouldn't be surprised should it not come available as such either too.

Given that the spinning seat looks more appealing than a backwards seat, I wouldn't mind a $15 - $20 price tag for what it's worth since it'll provide guests with a unique experience each cycle - unlike Rivals.

Just hope it starts selling at around $10 coz knowing my broke ass, I'd much prefer to spend the remainder on food...

They have never advertised an in park discount on ST for pass holders, in-park discount is specifically food/bev/merch.

I would like to see peak/off peak pricing and perhaps a loyalty (buy 5 get 1 free) kind of thing.

LOCALS ANNUAL PASS PURCHASED AFTER 31 OCTOBER 2020

    • Discounts are only valid on full price sales and exclude already discounted entry, merchandise or food and beverages items. Retail discount excludes LEGO Store.

I assume since Steel Taipan's spinning seat will be a full-priced upcharge, an in-park discount will apply to those with the applicable annual pass.

What does everyone reckon? September holidays opening?

    Not even close.

I expect it to open sometime during their "best summer ever"...

Anyone else think this part of the track is way too close to the footpath (assuming this footpath is accessible to guests)? Seems like a prime place for idiots to play chicken with a speeding taipan...

I always thought Superman was pretty low, but this looks too risky to be left uncovered. Maybe that curved ladder fence will have a cover or safety net coming off it?

Perhaps Dreamworld could install another rock tunnel for guests to pass through 💀

That’s the ride envelope. No one is walking through there…

The tenders show this as the ride entrance.

Haven’t seen it as haven’t ridden but imagine there is one for Gold Coaster in the store too

Gold Coaster does indeed have ride photos in the Shaka Shack store. They are shown on TV screens hanging off the wall or roof above the counter.

    Exit Path.

If the tender is anything to go by, I'd be one to assume that Dreamworld will implement technology similar to those currently in use at Movieworld in terms of ride photos and how to retrieve them. Also not to keen in seeing what the reactions will look like when the camera tower is situated along the launch track...

On a different note, that exit path looks good for photos of "the device".
