If I ever stepped foot on to that ride, I'd come off spewing 😵
-
Depends if it leaves me all twisted inside or knot.
-
On a different note, rising up the tower on the east side of GD while ST runs out the brake run and into the twisted horseshoe roll would look pretty neat...

Mako and Manta at SeaWorld Orlando use speakers on the lift hill to deliver custom build up audio.
Speaking of Manta, does anyone know where I can find the soundtrack used on the lift hill?

Mack did a good job sourcing onboard audio from IMAscore for Blue Fire, so it's sure to never disappoint (as the onboard audio works).
Also, if Dreamworld can build new fences along the train line, surely it wouldn't hurt to make a new path (as it proves to be of good use). But like... money.

If only access paths 2 or 3 could be repurposed as a connection between ST and GD...
To be fair, not having a connection makes Taipan sort of like how Rivals is on its own end of the park. Rivals is a dead end at MW, Taipan is a dead end at DW. People only venture down these ends of the park for a certain ride, before exiting and going back the way they came to go explore the rest of the park.
-
It would've been nice to have that connection and walking through the layout between there, but hopefully Dreamworld do think of an alternative coz I don't want to walk around from one dead end to another just to go on two great rides. Maybe a path will loop behind Steel Taipan through Blue Lagoon towards the Giant Drop in future (maybe to make way for a new attraction should Dreamworld be eyeing out that piece of land).
-
Don't know how long ago it's been but Dreamworld has since been removed from the Casual/Low Risk Contact exposure site list.

So what I'm getting atm:
If you hold confidential information, don't share it. And if you do use the 'special list of dos and don't shares' (but it's recommended you don't share).
Either way, if you do, use SUBTLE hints to not share EXACT details, like:
"what colour will the track be?"
"oh idk, it beams with bold, bright and brilliant colour, silky flaked texture, dazzling on the side of a shiny coke can..."

Is that before or after SW had 1 running adult ride and SW was forced to bring in outside help after all the hate they were receiving?
When did all this happen? I must've missed it.

Sorry, but based on my knowledge of how the park does things (and many people on these forums can vouch for me) I very much doubt what your friend is telling you is accurate.
In this instance however, Renae is sharing accurate info. If it wasn't, Village would not have gone out of their way to share and show their employees at the staff-only event a couple months/weeks ago. Village also would not have shown the employees the basic design, looks and/or features of the new hotel as well.

You got a direct link or quote for this new ride? Cause if its general info I have not seen a thing about it.
I can assure you that the new replacement is not general info. (Mainly) Movie World employees know the details, as it was unveiled to them at a special staff-only event.

So Renae has shared information that she is legally allowed to disclose, right? The KEY points and the rest of the details that she isn't (and can't) tell you will all be revealed in the announcement coming soon...
No need to shine a light in the sky for someone to tell you what those details are, you just need to be a little patient...

That's true tbh. It looks natural for those slots to be used as eyes instead...
On second glance, it looks like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon:

Do we actually know it they will light up or not? I have not really had any word on it but i would hope that they did even though you would only likely see them lit up at night events.
Given the following snake-headed zero cars, this zero car model tends to come with lights (this isn't saying much, as the standard model can be fitted with lights too):
Steel Taipan will be the odd one out (unless the lights are present behind the eye and light the entire eye up to make it 'glow'):

I WAS WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS VIDEO. The reveal of the train (to the GP of course)...Very sorry for releasing such energy into this forum. Although the train looks good, those eyes... Just destroyed by the fact that they won't light up... But, fair call as to why they won't.

At least the theming will be better than The Rock.

Just wondering, but no one here knows what the replacement for AA will be right?
That makes two of us (you know who you are). And if other ppl know the exact details for this ride, well, nice, me same.

I understand you have great interest in this topic and the subject at hand, and I also understand that you came close to legal trouble in the past - but if your intention was to build hype towards this new attraction, you're just a little too early hahahahahahahahahahahaha. It would be a crime not leaving subtle clues and/or teasers, doing so would serve it justice.

Well, for this brand new ride - take it as a [redacted] in [redacted]. We've never seen anything like it in Australia, and like what @Renae disclosed - the theming will be mad 😉 (after Village saw some cursed missed opportunities when theming rivals - love me a good green grass and grey drainage gravel)...
Lastly, don't get too excited when you see that one half of this new ride is, in a way, already existing at Movieworld.
As we all should probably know, the announcement is due to come at the end of this year. And seeing that AA is still standing, we may not see this ride open till 2023 (for what I thought was originally planned).

I see it as, taipans are in the desert, the concrete has a desert tone to it, so i think it works very well as is.

Given the images above this Taipan, it seems that DW are a tad close to that 'desert look'. What still throws me off is the orange seat support bracket things... Strange choice of colour. Idk how well it'll work once placed onto the track, but that train is (tbh) a deserted mess. Different colours all over, but in a way, it kinda works. Having mixed feelings over that.
In depth:
The body of the train perfectly achieves the looks of a taipan, with a dirty orange finish over a desert green, scaled-like skin. The seat on the other hand... well, the black seat is fine, so too are the dark green arms. The orange support beneath the seat throw me around a little, like maybe dark green would've been fine there instead? The silver gold wings add a little shine to the snake's body, so in a way, that's fine too.
The rock theming - what better way to bring the desert to Dreamworld than by using rocks! The tunnel will be a major hit for me when passing through, and same for the second installation on exit from the mcbr, but if they are the only pieces of rocky theming, then I'll be slightly let down. Just hope it doesn't turn into a waste of space like Rival's grass and drainage gravel.
The footpaths, let it be the colour it is present in the first image, or give it the appearance of dried mud... That's scaley enough. Don't forget, the tenders showed we could be seeing painted supports and columns, an instagram photo spot (expecting something snake-like, but who's to believe we'll actually see that happen), a snake-bodied station building, ramp and exit path, a rusted disembodied entrance sign between fairies and airport terminal, and even the snake's skeleton riders will queue under so it (depending on who you're asking) achieves immersing the guest into bringing them to outback Australia.

This is what the queue line and station looks like. It would appear they are going with a snake skeleton shade structure.
Exit Path.
There will be 2 tunnels.
This is the modern entrance sign is going next to Sky Voyager in Main Street.
A look at the station structure. It looks the same as Rivals or Green Lantern.
Ramp up to station.
Hoping there is more to rocky tunnels and external station features for this ride. I'd be disappointed if the only theming we'll see over the course of the ride are the two instances of theming (the rocky tunnel and whatever is happening opposite GD). If the above tenders are anything to go by, I'm excited to see all the queue line theming and attraction signage go to place.

A forwards seat experience (never thought I'd say that ever)... If that was an option, would it go at the back or front?
Imagine if it came with an upcharge...
