  1. If I'm correct this would be the same Model seen on the LunaPark History Video. The snippets that I have seen looks amazing. It would be good if you could make it look like the original! Good on ya Screammachine i did have the original at one time yes i only have coney island & the palais & ghosttrain left.
I would love to see you post pictures man. That would be great.www.lunapark model.zoomshare.com
id love to see how you made ranger...that was easy ive got that, looks good too.
  2. I was in my car listening to 96.3fm 26/5/07 11am when news came on & abe saffrons son reavealed that his father did light the ghosttrain fire at lunapark on the 9/6/79 her father had a deal with harry seidler to close the park so they could build two towers on the prime real estate site plan since 1968 & she reavealed her father didnt mean to kill anyone which both had known all this time they killed innocent people that night. what really happened with guilt. Both abe & harry are now deceased & the 28th anniversary of the fire is next month. 9 people died & since then the park has opened & closed many times.....why?

  3. We are all (apart from myself) are complaining about the state of "LPS" in it's current condition. What you don't know is Parks such as the Coney Island, and Deno's Wonder Wheel Park are in a much worse condition. Attached are some photographs. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v413/Coa...ll/HPIM0468.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v413/Coa...ll/HPIM0474.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v413/Coa...ll/HPIM0475.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v413/Coa...ll/HPIM0476.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v413/Coa...ll/HPIM0477.jpg Now compare this to LPS.
    lps any day.
  4. The 2 Huss rides out the back aren't junk, they just are treated badly!.... they are very expensive, and nice rides! Get the Breakdance trailerised, with backdrop etc, and get them both back onto the road! would be much more successful! chris
i worked with the ranger, spider breakdance, ufo, tumble bug tristar. at darling harbour carnival for wittingslows, the poor things are nearly 40.they dont look good at the back.
  5. I tell you what Colin, the current Luna Park would certainly be an easier model to build. All you'd have to do is add a few conference buildings, a big warehouse/shed (Big Top), an office block, a brasserie building, a large ticket booth with a car park ramp behind it and a large flat area out behind Coney Island with a few portable pieces of junk scattered around randomly. Not nearly as fun as the old models though :)
no.. your right there mate its the worst its looked in its entire history..if i had the money or owned it i restore it with a mixture of what was there between 1935 to 1979...but its a dream.
  6. i worked at lunapark last year, the guys name is kevin. he,s cool just obsessed with lunapark i have ever since mum pushed me up olympic dr in the pram 1n 1973 the face the whole place was magic then and at night wow. look at me ive got a 6 by 4 ho scale model of it in my garage complete with lights sound movement. if interested to come have a look call me...colin 0411305322. im near parramatta....yeah kevs cool, all he does is have fun he loves the place.

  7. And thank goodness for that too as not only is it a fun ride but one of the few remaining pieces of heritage significance in the park. It was originally built around 1960 in the exact spot where it stands today. Does anyone else have any other ideas for new attractions or improvements that could work well at the park?
simple, it needs more rides..in the 70,s it had 27 rides now about 8.
