Realistically they should have put it straight onto a flatbed - but IMO it's where it is because they didn't want to walk the damn thing all the way round the back.

Seems that way. Could also be that where it is now, it is unlikely to be damaged by anything as it's in an enclosed space. Whereas in BOH it could be hit by trucks/forklifts/rogue koalas.

A SW employee posted some info on the Gold Coast Reddit:

    - Leviathan will offer a near Disney theming experience, unmatched in Australia

    - Doesn't think there will be a soft opening for Levy or Trident

    - SW have plans to "reintroduce older rides" as guest absorbers and round out the park offerings

Only "older rides" that I can think of that can be reintroduced would be monorail and log Flume? Maybe the cinema if you call that a ride?

The little building outcrop on the right is the old AA station. Lift hill would have been just out of shot on the right.

From what I can gather from the render, that's all staying:

That outcrop is the black slanty roof (much technical) just to the left of centre. No idea what they're planning on doing with it though?

Could be wrong, but could it be the station for the SFC450?

Even when they announced it, it was just a secondary statement within the wizard of Oz announcement. They should’ve announced it before or after WoO and created some hype about it. They’ll probably announce more in the new year once their events are over

I thought the same. Most people even missed it as it was barely spoken about. Missed opportunity hyping it before Wizard of Oz

Is there any sign of life near the Madagascar entry of them bringing the remote control boats back? It seemed they were doing work there the other day in addition to refilling the pond

Would be a pretty smart move bringing these back. Fills in part of the park, adds something for guests to do, fairly cheap investment and plays on the nostalgia card so I could even see people pay to use it.

Visited the park this past weekend to get some pics of Supanova. As suspected, the slide will feature a "cropped Tornado 60", which makes the element more of a halfpipe than a full cone. Giving it a visual point of difference to all the other Tornado's in Australia.

The slide's colours really pop/contrast against the existing Gravity Wave waterslide and the rolling green fields at Funfields. Another exciting edition to a really beautiful park! See link for more construction pics:

Excellent photos Luke! I'm keen to try them out when they open. I wonder how well the different colours will hold up in a few years 🤔
