Just had a look at the Cyclone track (RCT3 wouldnt let me open the SE track because the parts werent joined correctly or something). The entire coaster is about 30 feet to tall, and the pre drop is WAY to generous. Also, the turnaround before the drop needs to be banked, and the whole thing in general needs a lot more banking. Also, the inversions are way to fast. Other than that, it was good, and thanks!

What scenery are you referring to? Jk, you dont have to answer that. No, dont worry about any scenery thanks.
-
Just make sure you have the persons permission if you're going to upload it. Can you do a Cyclone track please??? Oh, and wrong 'weather'. lol.Weather I have to find them on the net, make them myself or whatever. -
Is there anything to take pictures of?I dont think there is any specs on the ride as yet. or Pictures. anyone? -
You know, that little box room you walk into before the loading area, with the projector. Yeah, they used to play the movie, but last time I was up they didnt. I expect they only play it during busy times, to cut back on staff.

When you're in line say loudly to your friend: 'last time I was at this spot it took about 2 hours', that should make some people leave.

Fair enough joz, but can anyone actually confirm whether it is infact the 'young-adult' ride op who allows cameras onto the ride; or is persmission needed from management?
-
Coincidentally, thats basically what happens in FD3, except; of course the train actually comes to a halt in the middle of the loop.the carriage would simply dip to one side and scrape along the rest of the track, eventually coming to a halt from either friction or brake sections. -
I would have thought that would be up to management, not the pimply kid operating the ride.Just, if you get denied permission to take a camera on the ride, DON'T Try and sneak it on, thats just plain stupid, they say it for a reason. But, if you have a Nice Op, they might let you. -
Lol, when I said they'd have trouble filling it I meant actually filling the ride with people. When I last went to DW it was pretty dead, and to actually have a ride on Wipeout, we needed to stand out the front and tell people to come on, because they need a certain amount of people on it to balance it properly. I mean, if they dont have enough people to operate a ride with 44 seats (Wipeout has 44 seats right?), then imagine how they'll go trying to fill a ride with 74 seats! I seriously dont think Dreamworld needs a ride with this sort of capacity, the line for Wipeout isnt even very long on busy days!
-
Because of Blue Lagoons proximity to the Big Brother area...
-
Yeah, they are pretty big, but Dreamworld just doesnt need that kind of capacity. I believe the large Top Spin takes 72 riders per cycle! Thats Massive! Dreamworld just doesnt need a ride that big, they would have trouble filling it!
-
Yeah, you can buy RCT2 by itself. They have it at Dick Smith for $19.
-
I've never been on a Top Spin, but from pictures and videos it doesnt look anywhere near as fun as Wipeout. All it really does is spin around...Also, I dont think a Top Spin would be as visually attractive as Wipeout; like, with Wipeout you get people just standing at the front and watching it, Top Spins just spin around, so they arent that spectacular.

Basically ALL rollercoasters have wheels on the side of the track (they're called guide wheels). And again, basically ALL rollercoasters (with the exception of side friction coasters) have up stop wheels; to stop the train coming off the track during an inversion. Considering both of these factors, it would be almost impossible to derail a coaster, unless initially there was something wrong with the wheel assemblies.

When CoasterRadio did their video podcast on FD3 they showed a few clips from the rollercoaster crash, including the part where the video camera gets dropped and wraps around the track. The chance of that happening is EXTREMELY low. Taking a camera on a coaster that goes upsidedown is ok, as long as the camera is extremely well taped to your hand (and you have permission from the park). If it isnt secured then yes, it is extremely stupid.

Yeah, just recently Apple released and 83MB download called Boot Camp which enables Mac OS users to run windows on iMac Core Duo, Mac Mini and MacBook Pro computers. All you need is the download and a copy of Windows XP. Why you would actually want to do this is beyond me.

You can improve and get better by not swearing so much in your posts (even if you are using *), reading over your posts for spelling and grammatical errors, and making sure everything you've written makes sense; I had to read over your post twice, and still dont understand most of it!in plain english, tell the problem and tell them how they can improve/get better). -
I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. Surely if Ibot was actually serious about building a theme park, he wouldnt come on the internet and ask for advice from people in a forum. Also Ibot, you dont need to keep creating new threads for every single question you have. Next time you have a question to ask regarding 'building a new theme park' you should put it in one of your other threads. Oh, and if you want your absurd posts to be taken seriously, it might be a good idea to learn how to spell. Now is it just me, or does ibot seem like a little 11 year old wannabe coming up with absolute drivel?
No, you're not the only one.And finally, am I the only one groaning in frustration and utter annoyance at these posts? -
At around 2PM today (Australian EST) Tatsu made its first test run. The video can be found at RCPro.

I have to say the Vomitron is an absolutley awesome ride. I went on it twice in a row. It has an terrific view from the top, and its really smooth. The best part is going backwards

The holes arent everywhere, just some corners. They are up the top on the sides, so they let quite a lot of light in.
-
Yes; god forbid the slide get a bit stuffy when theres no one in it! What could it have to do with construction? Does anyone no why they have holes in it?Well they're stuffy when there's no water in them. Maybe it was something to do with construction?! -
Hot and stuffy??? Its a WATERslide, as in you get wet! I doubt holes of that size (about the size of a pencil) would be effective in cooling down the tunnel anyway. But it is a good slide, better than Terror Canyon IMO, it would just be much much better if it didnt have the holes on some corners.

When I was up last month Letheal weaopn still showed its pre ride show, but instead of standing and watching it you just walk straight through to the ride. I would assume they actually make you watch it when the parks busy.
