  1. I heard some people saying it was pain, or their legs were numb, bla bla. That's all a bit of an exaduration IMO there is some pressure, but that's all. And it's barely a minute it happens for. No worse than the pressure of the wipeout harness for example.

The pressure I had on my legs was A LOT more than wipeouts harness. No exaggeration, it hurt! even if it was from the brake run to the station. (I was in the front seat, I know the presence of the G-forces going into each element is more noticeable in the front. Possibly a factor)
  2. I agree on the two train thing. I was there today and the line stayed at about an hour to an hour and a half all day. Even scooby doo's line up was shorter. I must say though the harnesses do come down quite hard on your legs towards the end but i suppose that will go away like it did on MDMC.

I agree with the harness pressure on your legs. It is, to a certain extent, kind of painful. I got off the ride with tingling/numbness in my legs , thats how hard it was pushing down. Lets hope it does "wear-in"
  3. Visited Movie World today just to ride GL. I was there at 9.30 and it didn't appear like there were any media on the coaster? At first the Ride Ops didn't have an idea if it were going to open but it did around 12ish and it was running (with a few hiccups) when I left which was about 3.30 Got to ride it twice and I must say I am very impressed with everything! Loved the ride, Loved the station and queue graphics, loved the sound effects throughout the queue (near the entrance of the queue you hear the Green Lantern Corps. reciting the oath. As you move closer to the Parallax figure you hear it growl "Surrender to your fear!") I did notice in the queue there are misting/fogging tubing lining the tops of the concert walls either side of the path where all the hero and villain figures stand which will add to the atmosphere in that area once they are up and running. I think the thing that took me most by surprise was the onboard audio - its just so different to have a soundtrack in your ears (I read a few comments about the volume being to low, but I had no problem with it?) And of course I had to take a few snaps for us all! Enjoy: post-937-0-65983100-1324621328_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-24124800-1324621363_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-49585800-1324621388_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-40090500-1324621403_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-26305500-1324622362_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-11203400-1324622379_thumb.jpg post-937-0-69460100-1324622403_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-87859500-1324622428_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-81197100-1324622450_thumb.jpgpost-937-0-47917900-1324622469_thumb.jpg

  4. Its been a while since I've actually singed on to comment but I just had to reply to this motion that its a Euro-fighter. I personally, highly doubt that its a Euro Fighter...The track in the pictures look WAY to narrow for a Euro-Fighter train (it looks REALLY narrow in the pictures. No more than 1m or so) but we can always hope ;)

  5. Wicked is simply AMAZING! I have seen the stage show three times since its debut in Australia, I have also seen videos of the USJ adaption and to my surprise it was quite amazing how they condensed the show to keep it under half an hour instead of 2+1/2hrs - but by doing this you don't get to discover the ending of the story instead we are left at the end of Act 1 so the show's kind of a taster but a complete show in itself at the same time, I think its brilliant! it would be just amazing if Movie World put this in but in terms of the licensing I would imagine it to be A LOT of money to get the performing rights.

  6. I like the Idea of not having the real car travel up the ramp!, now that I think of it why didn't they just have the 'dummy' car travel on a straight section of track on the top deck of the "car park" before entering the spire and doing the jump. The only problem I see with doing this though is that if the 'dummy' car stunt didn't work at all and they you would just have the car exiting the other side of the building. And the cut back on police cars in the show? I don't know, movieworlds just getting slack with a few things lately.

  7. Was at the park today and it was still pretty hectic, people everywhere ( Really do feel sorry for the lady that dropped the rope outside the HWSD entrance when the park opened, everyone waiting was just so rude and nearly knocked the poor lady over!) the line for Scooby was about 60-70mins and it was pretty much the same as previous people have said (no fog etc.) The ride just needs a good overhaul, I would really love to see good and WORKING animatronics.

  8. this topic is turning away from "WVTP changes" and more towards "Lets see what we could find what we think is wrong about WVTP" hahah, I sure this would be much more fun if you choose dreamworld as your topic park :P (And I really think movie world should have a look into the upcoming movie "where the wild things are" cause it looks like its going to be good) zane.

  9. Hahah that silde is soo awesome!....I love the fog at the end and that lift on the spinnin coaster looks insane I was thinking maybe that there is a LSM/LIM at the top of the lift that launches it? cant wait for a POV! What idiot's on this slide:

  10. The holding brakes are there for a reason, I wanted the train to slowly 'uncover' the drop below before going down it (like a Dive machine) and the chain speed is just anticipation effect and to space the trains apart but thanks for the comment :D

  11. Hey all, This is my new Euro-Fighter creation in No Limits. Ride took about a day to complete, and its the first time I have played around with my own 3Ds, like speed/position sensors on the track and copper braking fin's. Its a high thrill ride and is very fast paced, it puts through about 685 people per hour and the ride time is approx. 1:50mins Enjoy (you need No Limits track packager to open/ride coaster) Trackfile updated 11/4/09, added various 3D's : Fiend.zip I will put a few Screen shots up if people want. I'll zip it just for you Gazza :P, only kidding....I should of done that in the first place! zane.

  12. Hey, Went to Seaworld today and Corkscrew was open and the corkscrew's+loop are still orange (and the paint is glossy) but I personally don't think there going to leave it orange, the orange sections are all over the place. The colour starts at the drop out of the station and then stops at the brake before the Lift then it starts again at the bottom of the drop and continues to just after the track goes under the monorail track then starts again halfway through the last turnaround. There are seat belts attached to the harnesses on corkscrew to now (pretty much like what Cyclone has) Follow link to View photos Also JetRescue has settled in awesome, its running really great (its so smooth!) :) zane.
