A second lift hill part way along brings boats to the highest point.
The ride starts off with a lift hill, and a few elevated turns.
It also features twin drops to allow boats to drop alternately without risk of getting too close.
The ride pushes the limits of hourly capacity, with a continuous stream of boats bumper to bumper at the loading turntable.
Coal Cracker is a flume ride with a few unique features.
The entrance to "The Boardwalk", Hersheyparks water park, included with the price of admission.
Fahrenheit, Wild Mouse, and Coastline Plunge.
Behind the funnel of Whirlwind, the green Riptide snakes along.
Hydro and Vortex.
In blue is Surge, the widest slide of the lot, so wide in fact that it uses large whirly wheel rafts rather than the usual 2 person inline rafts. Pipeline is the yellow slide above.
The bowl of Vortex can be seen on the lower right, with the helix of Hydro above it.
Coastline Plunge is a collection of 6 water slides.
The Sandcastle Cove kids water play area, with Lightning Racer behind.
These rides tend to be everywhere, but a strange investment nether the less. The combination of a somewhat bland experience, and their soaking wet nature means they are either insanely busy on hot days, but otherwise empty on others.
Tidal Force is a figure 8 "shoot the chutes".
There's some serious slides in there.
Its definitely not just for little kids.
East Coast Waterworks is one of the worlds biggest water play structures.
