These broken columns have spinning midsections, giving the impression hundreds of scarabs are swarming around.
The ride is a little more advanced than your average car ride, with a few simple animatronics and sound effects along the way. The supports on this bridge for instance fall away as you drive past.
The cars are electric, with the speed of each being controlled by the ride computer.
Guests are required to steer the cars, but a central rail prevents them going too far either side.

As you dissapear into the hole in the hull, you discover on the other side a number of zoo animals have been shipwrecked in Madagascar, and a fun and colourful adventure follows.
