Here is the track switch system. The central piece of track rotates slightly to the left and right to direct the train to the available side of the station.
The large metal bar at the front of the shot pushes down on a levering mechanism, forcing the seats to swing back into the flying position, where they are then locked in place.

Ever since an incident at another Six Flags Park, where a guest was killed by a passing coaster train, management have opted to update the signage around rides. Evidently, simply telling people to stay out of a ride operation area isn't effective, but warning them of high voltage is!
