  1. Warning this could be just a rumor but Bolliger and Mallibard a rumored to be developing a prototype coaster, at first it was believed to be for Happy valley park in china, however there are now speculations that this is being made for a theme park somewhere in Australia. Reasons for this belief stem from sightings of B&M track at their factory that has spent an unusually long time lying around, and has not been shipped out. Does anyone know what's going on with these track pieces? db_2008_0911_MysteryDiveMachine11.jpgdb_2008_0911_MysteryDiveMachine21.jpgdb_2008_0911_MysteryDiveMachine31.jpg

  2. I've voted floorless because we need some more looping coasters in Australia, I like the idea of having a wooden coaster, especially to expand the wild west theme, like having the coaster being a mine cart. The el toro is a good coaster but I'm unsure of the cost, can anyone enlighten me? Because if it was under 20 mil I'd be quite happy for it to be stuck to the left of Wild west falls.

  3. ^^^ Can't say I agree with you there. Though it would be great to have a huge Mega Coaster, I can't help but think that if WWW hadn't been built WnW would have really slumped it's quality. Namely because when there are no competitors you don't have to wow the customers to attract them to your park. When I walk into WWW I see a park which may have squandered the space it has with to much footpath, but at least I'm not intimidated with rides closing in all around me. That isn't everybody's idea of a great park but it's mine. Be happy, with this expansion we're going to see the quality of rides from both parks increase. And since most people on this forum aren't involved with the industry at a executive level, all we have to worry about is the stuff we're riding at the park. P.S- It's good to be back.

  4. The Hot Wheels Show is gaining momentum with rumors saying as early as next year.
But I don't see whats wrong with the current show, and the new one doesn't sound as exiting as it's just a marketing ploy from hotwheels. Now I'm not saying that police academy isn't blatent advertising for their films. But doing a show that just sounds so blatently like an advertisment is not what I would like to see. (though of course the whole park is one big ad for Warner Brothers who were polish funnily enough)
  5. That ride is rather cool, and is probably Dreamworld's next thrill ride. Just think about it, it fits Dreamworld perfectly. - It's Extreme - It's Cool Looking - It's got low capacity. - It has a short ride time. :) Have a good new year everyone.
    The topic is about Movieworld.
  6. Anyone want to buy my second copy? Someone gave it to me for Christmas but already had it. They've thrown the receipt out too.
That Deal is made for e-bay. Well as well as Wii sports I also got Big Brain Academy, but I havent really been playin BB, because Wii sports lasts for hours. It's like I can't get bored of it.
  7. Ejector airtime is cool but it wouldnt be comparable in terms of intensity to Floater, with floater your body feels weird
Am I the only one who goes weightless on the Top Hat of SE, and it was voted Southern Hemispheres best coaster, So I'm sure it would rate among the top 50 in the world. Lethal weapon is all Brawn and no real expierience, you remember it for its pain, not the actual ride expierience. It isn't even a unique coaster, superman is a far better quality ride.
  8. The name has nothing to do with the theme Gazza has said; so I don't see where you are drawing this connection Pixel?
He wasn't quoting Gazza, Pixel was quoting my idea. My idea would was to create this with a Batman theme and I've highlighted the area in which it could be built in a previous post. Also for the Luthor idea, this I think would be the perfect option.
  9. Movie World can't just keep replacing old attractions with new ones if they expect to be able to keep up with growth.
I agree, MW needs something new that will expand the size of the park, SE was built on an existing area of the park. And if they need a kids ride just put it in WB kids!. Also why would you put Shreck Live! in the Western area? We need to see them expand and grow, not get cramped inside their box.
