Blue Fire is great, not quite as good as Maverick but still an excellent ride. Not sure where the hate is coming from for this one!
Some armchair specialist whose watched a video and is an expert on things after doing so. Wonder if this was Facebook they would have their school attended as the "School of Hard Knocks"

BS? In the middle of the school holidays localised entirely to these forums?

Maybe it has been delayed due to someone stealing some of the blocks for a bookcase

The slide was tested in Germany so it may be safe to say that is DC Rivals and possibly Dancing Oscar in the background.

I understand the Movie World car park is a popular place to visit

Crazy idea but with all this downtime maybe they could look at the clearance issues and sort those to allow air conditioning

They're an "influencer", I thought they were just some random being sent a pass because they're close by

Village haven't run any night events on a Sunday this year. Fright Nights had a PH Monday one weekend, no Sunday night option. Makes no sense to me either but I cbf trying to figure out their logic and don't bother attending their events when Sunday night isn't an option.

My first thought when people mention that movie

What about more hydrating options at Stations like Soda waters with lime /lemon juice, electrolyte drinks and those fuze ice teas?
People are turning away from sugar and diet fizzy drinks
Two of the drinks mentioned there are crazy high in sugar. Found this out the other night looking at the sugar content in one of the major iced tea brands.

Getting back on topic and having been on two Kumbak "improved" SLC I can say they are both as good as each other. Yes I do experience some leg squishing when riding but no ear bashing (although using the head to the right trick a OG SLC is fine to ride). Worst on the Gold Coast or in the world? No, not in my opinion.

Soarin has better presentation (queue area, preshow) but personally feel as though the ride experience they are both great especially given both parks respective budgets. Between the two you're essentially comparing a Toyota Corolla to a Tesla Model S, they both do the same thing just one has a bit more polish and refinement due to additional cost. We should be considering ourselves lucky the park took a risk with an attraction like this and to have something remotely like Soarin locally.

A coaster cannot fit in both the Wipeout and Sidewinder plot - as in between these two rides is all back of house area.
Coasters can be made to fit anywhere, see Gröna Lund for a perfect example

So it's a standard waterslide only with a launch instead of walking up a hill? Cool...

This is the post with the video footage, surprised nobody shared it earlier 🙄

Interesting to see what Raging Waters Sydney is doing by removing the 2 aqualoops. 4 isn't necessary really.
In Sydney yes, Queensland no. For some reason they are less popular in Sydney than Queensland.

You haven't been around any apartment buildings in Sydney of late?

Will this be another ride that Kumbak trains seemed to have killed on the Gold Coast?
