Most people going to DW will likely end up doing stuff at WWW anyway

I just broke my controller pressing X to doubt.

Even as someone who literally lives in boardshorts and has an annual pass, i feel no compulsion to go next door. I line up for an hour, hit the bottom in seconds, dry off lining up, rinse and repeat. IMHO theres only 1 reason worth going there for and its only theming is coloured tubes and angry eyes on a shade cloth. Water rides in dry parks should have 2 objectives- cool you off in some degree and break up your day. anything past that is a bonus and normally a drawcard. I'd love to see WWF at DW, it would tick the 2 boxes and more, on the other hand that ride style shouldnt go into a waterpark for obvious reasons. Are you also saying WWF should close cause WnW is a carpark away? In summer the parks lines are going to blow out, more so with any social distancing requirements that remain post Dec 17. A water ride in that park is nessecary cause people are going to be in lines all day and you need something to cool off and break up the day, especially when your only indoor attraction now is only 10 mins tops of 22°C air. Hardly enough to cool down in for those from the south.

Looks good but Dreamworld is still crap atm. The coaster lineup is an outdated looper, a poor man's Jet Rescue, some crappy kids coaster and this. 1 good Coaster in what's supposed to be the country's biggest theme park.

Reptar and Cyclone are still solid additions for what they are and when they were made.

Love it in the video how magic mountain tried to claim the 100mph barrier and pretend TOT dosent exist even though superman was delayed and TOT got there first typically yank attitude lol

They try to claim it on the basis of "it opened for passholder previews first, and that still counts".

A new water ride would be good, but it couldn't be anything similar to TRR, otherwise the GP might not take it too well...

The public will be fine. It's the media that'll kick up a stink. I can guarantee that whenever ST is on the news this year, TRRR will be brought up.

I don't know if you guys would agree with me on this or not but i kind of feel that jamberoo could become more than just a water park and could introduce rides into the park, Personally i could find it as another big hit if they added some roller coasters or flat rides over time because i do think that they have the attendance numbers to expand jamberoo's potential, i still think that it would be seasonal if this was to happen because it can get bloody cold down there in cooler months

You mean like they used to back when they were an "action park"?

It's too far from the centre of Sydney and other tourist attractions to be of real attraction to overseas or interstate travelers.

To add to what Alex said, Featherdale is just down the road too. And it alone is the 1 wildlife park that every tour group goes to despite making Piss Weak World look like Disneyland and having both Taronga and WLS in the dead centre of the city. Hell, heading down the highway, it would also be a shorter trip to just go to Auburn Gardens.
