Are we SURE we're getting a non inverting loop?
Yes.

It's a bit hard to tell, but looking at the photos, it seats around 128 people?Given that the park will have what, 3500 people on a normal day? That's 3.66% of guests that can be seated at any one time in that area, and a whole lot of empty space. Seems like they just want people to buy takeaway food and leave.

It would seem mainly US bowling alleys too as this year in Queensland Kedron and Canon Hill are either closed or closing
I could have sworn they were talking about closing Cannon Hill for years now.

TOT2 reopening date pushed again back to June 5
I'd be expecting it to keep getting pushed back.

Even as a barn with silos, I'm not seeing it sorry.
Rename: scream world - you think the rapids guests went quietly?

You sir have seen some extremely odd barns.

Why does me seeing it like this makes me think of Xcelerator?
Because looking at it like that, it has a similar shape to Xcelerator.
You're welcome.

Calm down. It's just an announcement that there will be an upcoming announcement. No big deal.

All the sell off does is create income for shareholders.
Which seem to be all Ardent really care about sadly.
Happy shareholders= bigger bonus for them.

Tower of Terror would get anything changed anytime soon, because there isn't really a need for it. It's fine how it is
Except that it's currently broken.
SE recently had some love so that won't happen for a while.
SW has other priorities than refurbishment of an existing ride (JR) that's still relatively new in the grand scheme of things.
DW has a lot to work on, but my money is on the park being unrecognisable in 5-7 years anyway so I'm not holding my breath on it being much of a theme park going forward, so I can't see them bothering to do much with it unless ownership changes to a company who actually wants to run a theme park.
So that leaves VRTP to refurb maybe something at WnW since they haven't been in the news much lately, but do they really need anything? They're still popular.
MW could expand around the wild west area, but I wouldn't expect that for some years yet.

Can you provide a link for this? All I've seen is that they visited the USA.
They could have visited ride manufacturers, entertainment precincts, fast food chains, zoos, or anything else related to the business...
The exact words were...
"Based on a recent USA visit"

I've been around here a long time, so I'm very aware of what happened to the ride in the past. I wasn't questioning what happened, I was questioning why a smoke effect could just be ruled out.
Then I'm sure you're aware that you're not the only person on the forums who might have questions about the history of the ride and at no point was the comment directed specifically at you.

Good to see Australia's first Parkz themed park under construction. Everyone gets to choose a ride to get built. 👍
Great news though, I hope it's a thoroughly successful endeavour for you Mark.

well to do that you need to clear out all your old dilapidated staff that aren't running the place well, re zone the area and put some new and exciting rides in them.
There we go.

With all the rumours flowing through now and early last year, do you think they're regretting not pushing harder to sell the place earlier?

@jcgoldcoast after the fire incident in 2003 they don't want to take any chances, especially when one of the rumours for the cause of it was a faulty smoke machine. Alas I don't know if it was ever publicly confirmed what the cause was. But yeah, unfortunately due to that it means they are keeping the visual effects inside the mountaim down to a minimal.
And for anyone who wants to know more, please search the forums. It's been discussed many times in the past.

My opinion: when I finally decide to stop going on cruises and go back to the USA, I'm planning at least 4 days in Anaheim for DL/DCA and at least 2 days for SFMM, and even then I'd be concerned I wouldn't get through everything I wanted to see there and thoroughly enjoy.
100% buy the platinum fast pass thing for SFMM regardless of cost if you won't be back for a long time.

Won't post the whole article as it's yet another Dreamworld disaster rehash article (enough Already).
But an interesting comment from the family/spokeswoman for the Dorset Family
Ms Brookfield said her friend’s fierce wish was for Dreamworld to be rebranded, to be a landmark and an attraction, without rides.
“Kim has told me she would love the theme park to become a zoo, it would be a fitting tribute to those lost,” she said.
Whilst I totally understand grief, it has clearly clouded her judgment of the financial implications of the suggestion. In an early quote she said she knew livelihoods were at stake so didn't want the park to shut down. Those 2 ideas don't go hand in hand. Retro-fitting a theme park into a zoo, apart from basically being impossible, would require almost a complete levelling of the site and re-development, which would cost hundreds of millions of dollars
I get that she probably wants the place shut down so she doesn't have bad memories etc, but how exactly is a zoo a "fitting tribute" those lost?
