Prob the wrong thread for this but kinda somewhat related to DW (sorry I know it's a tenuous link) but going to DW on Friday and with the expected hot weather was thinking of popping into WWW. Was wondering if anyone knew how many of the slides/tubes etc. allow for single riders only as when I went to WnW solo I was disappointed that maybe only about 2-3 slides were able to be done. So wondering if it's worth my time going in or just sticking to DW?
you can ride the temple of huey slides there's 3 slides to choose from (if their all working) you ride down them on a tube.
the little rippers also in the same area (my fav.)

Based on the photos, the car is completely separated from the rails; none of the four sets of wheels were correctly on the track.
how the hell can that even happen i thought there were all these safety measures in place making this not possible?

Let me explain where I am coming from, as a terrified rider.
I find Scooby Doo quite ok to ride, the start and ends are tame, the backwards part is frightening but brief and then you can see the track laid out in front of you for the main section of the ride.
My memory of the Mine Ride is of it feeling super fast and having little track visibility and it scared the bejesus out of me to ride it. After my first ride the operator said I was the most terrified rider she had ever seen in fact, a title I have carried proudly now for many years, and one I look forward to defending if (when) the ride re-opens.
i remember riding it as a kid when we came up here on holiday it scared the shit out of me too. than when we moved up here i rode it again and it wasn't the same.

a damn wheel came off? what are they paying the guys who check all this daily they should be fired! don't think i'll ever ride that again now (it's not that good anyway)

Hopefully there was just a temporary glitch at the time you went on.
every time i went on it last year none of the lasers or smoke was working just a dark, boring room.

how the hell did you get them pics? did you sneak in? the ride will run fine...really?! look at that track it's beyond repair they would have to replace the whole thing. and i seriuosly doubt they will do that.

i doubt the mc will be re-opening and that they've been doing test runs. the cars would be welded to the tracks from rust by now.

wish they would make up their minds as to when the rapids start operating. i don't know why they can't just run it as soon as the park opens why do they have to stuff around waiting?
