  1. Well i didn't post the pictures but this year there where 7 new rides.

    Kids boot camp

    Star flyer

    Bethlehem Sanatarium (Mayhem Manor)

    Freak out

    Speed 2

Thomas the tank engine (Kids ride)

There was one more and i forgot the name.

I went in the morning of Saturday it was horrible weather. I will do a full write up with pictures after i go on Friday.

  2. Damn teenagers on mobile phones. No offense to the teens on the community if there's any.

This is a sad accident indeed. In fact, I'm not trusting the Easter Show large scary rides any more with the exception of Hollywood Horrors (which scared the s**t out of me when I went on it). I've never gone to the Ekka.

Like Ninja 59 pointed out, go to the Gold Coast for the large scary rides. There's plenty of them.

See i get what your saying but in Perth i can't go to the Gold coast all the time for some spin and spew rides i can get here. I have been to the IGA Perth Royal Show every year since i was 3 and i have never had problems. Good service happy staff (not on phones or internet). Some of them are the nicest people i have ever meet. But thats from my experience.

  3. There are also a lot of country shows on at the moment. Northam is this weekend.

Well what is going to the Northam show concider most Show west gear, most of West coast carnivals gear (Mitro) are already at show gounds. I think also the super nova should be there tomorrow. F.Y.I i do have photos from inside the show grounds but there on my phone and not the best quality.

  4. I thought instead of have individual show forms we could just use one form.
So the Perth Royal Show rides that are there are as follows:
    - Wave swinger racked and in postions.
    - Ranger racked
    - Nitro racked and in postion
    - dogems (show west) lowered and roof is swung out.
    - racy dogems (show west) been lowered into postion.
    - Rage nearly fully set up
    - Ghost train set up
    - Gee whiz is still packed up
    - Python fully set up
    - Gravitron has been placed in posction
    - super bowl has arrived
    - West Coast carnivals dogems are half set up.
    - Bethlehem haunt ride is fully set up for the exteria.

  5. If by lord you mean the devil. Pepsi is a poor persons coke. Nothing can come close to coke in vanilla or glass bottle. Only positive is mountain dew other than that Pepsi coming to the park is a bad thing. Hope they don't do the same at AMF!

I don't think that AMF will change to coke because ever friday i bowl and there is coke bottles everywhere. So to me (or at my local AMF store) they are doing great.

  6. Anyway then please can if anyone wants to see it let me know. If not i won't post any more updates on this form site. I will stick to the Faccebook page and the other form sites that are really interested in me doing the full story line extra.

  7. Well i have just shown you some of these coaster listed above. Australian theme parks have spent the same amount of money on some god coasters but sum not so good. For the money they paid they could get a better value for their money. Blue streak was only 200,000 USD. Also Adventure World spent 12 Million USD for Abyss. MW, DW, SW extra can do it and should be able to pay more. The Latest cost for new attractions to the gold coast is getting cheaper and cheaper over years. (Dreamworld is starting to lift their game). MW has gone down hill, HSD2, Justice League in terms of price.

  8. Wow that is the worst write up of fog machines setting off fire alarms I've ever heard of, especially from someone saying "trust me I'm in the industry".

Ok any particle based atmospheric effect (fog, haze, smoke, low fog, whateveryouwanttocallit) WILL set off particle/optical smoke detectors.

The reason dry ice effects 'likely' won't is they don't reach high enough for the detectors to see the particles. Same goes for cooled low fog, which uses a fluid that evaporates before it rises to height.

It has NOTHING to do with if a machine uses heat to make the fog.

And most 'haze' if people are talking about "Water based" (which is made from glycol and NOT water) us just a small amount of fog passed through a fan.

There are machines that use a fine oil based fluid to create true haze but that are about 6 times the price of the cheaper glycol based systems.

Please don't come on the boards trying to act all expert like when you don't know what you're talking about because rest assured there are members here who are experts in various fields and will expose you every time.

Yeah sorry i was wrong. :(
