    In seriousness, this thing is so smooth and quiet, it's likely the absence of the sound of wheels on rails could be giving you that impression. There is no way that all the wheels aren't in constant contact with the track. There is no obvious variance in thickness of the tracks on any photo in this thread during the last few weeks of construction.

    In the cycle 2 vid I posted on the last page, almost all coaster noise was from Green Lantern.

    I know its not literally leaving the track, it just appears rough in a way. Maybe its the super fast twisting halfway down the drop that is giving me the illusion of roughness.

    Something seems off about the way the train cycles through the first drop.. it seems like its falling into the track if that makes sense? like the wheels are floating over the track and fall back onto it halfway down. It's hard to explain what I am trying to say. Anyone else get what I mean? it also seems "rough" and not very smooth.

    Super-jealous of the guys who were riding. Looking at some of the videos taken this afternoon, the coaster looks like it's going a lot faster already. It zooms through the NI loop, that thing's going to be crazy and it's only going to get faster from here on in (unless they need to trim it).

    So some Mack officials have apparently been seen riding DC Rivals. Which is very quick. I thought they did like 2000 cycles before humans were aloud on.

    Really? I really don't think that's true (Mack officials riding) especially on day one of testing.

    Either that or Mack were capturing their own footage like they do with all of their coasters.

    There would have been enough computer modelling done during the design phase to determine if trimming is required and where. The track would be designed and constructed with mountings for trim brakes long before now, so adding them after the coaster is tested and run is not the best way.

    Where on the coaster is there mounting for trims ? (If there is any)
