Loved this! What incredible pictures. Very educational as well 👌

@themagician did you get the chance to take pictures of the track after the helix? We don't have any pictures of that part yet. Awesome pics!
-
Where is shooketh so he can tell us how "shook" he is?
Edit: get a sense of humour people... it's draining.

Or maybe there won't be a ride photo, and it will have Ride video, or maybe even both (forward gets a photo, backwards gets a video)
I love the idea of video for back seat!!!

Where do we assume the ride photo will be located? Bottom of the drop or after the NI loop?
-
Comparing the NI loop to Buzzsaw - are they similar in size? I haven't seen DC rivals in person just yet and want a visual comparison to those who've seen the construction IRL.

WOW WOW WOW. Looks awesome. A lot taller and steeper than I first imagined. The airtime on that will be insane.
If they add trims I'll be fuming

Construction of the actual coaster should be finished in approx 3-5 weeks! We're getting closer and closer to opening. I'm very impressed with the steepness of the drop and the first airtime bump, it's going to take the wind outta everyone!
-
Is that really the station being built? As the lift hill is right next to that opening of the structure.
-
I really really love it.

oh my god it dwarfs batwing!
Expect it really doesn't.. that's just the angle of the picture. It's impossible to "dwarf" batwing because they're essentially the same size (DCR is slightly taller)

Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about the cooperation with VRTP! I really enjoyed creating the simulation and I hope you all enjoyed watching the trailer.
And sorry for not giving you any updates on my simulation, but you may now understand why I was not able to do so.
are you able to upload the pov?
Edit: never mind I actually took the time to read after I posted.

Only information they have said is the ride itself was between 30 - 35 million... Does not include station, theming, paths, landscaping...
Or labour.

@jack.c What is the Flying Aces like to ride?
I've never ridden flying aces. I'm referring to the overall look of the loop compared to flying aces, which I feel ours looks more appealing to the eye and somewhat more of a "solid" feel to it.

Is this MACKS first NI loop? I'm really impressed and prefer it over intamins style.

Thanks @jack.c.
Didn't get to see the clip. No idea why someone down voted you for that.
No problem!
I don't really care about forum reputation - soon as I'm bored following this coaster I'll be outta here 😂

Some cool points from the live stream:
- They will be focusing on the lift hill now that the NI loop is finished
- construction will be much more faster moving forward.
- the car park will be filled with more tracks and pieces for further construction this week.
- They will be live streaming the train arrival (which will arrive in the car park and assembled for everyone to see)
- they will live stream the final track being installed for the lift hill.
-
Wow it's beautiful! And so huge!!

Surprised nobody has mentioned it yet, but really getting sick of the media taking every park proposal \ expansion and turning it around to say <locality> answer to Disneyland!
I silently scream at them. FML.
It makes me cringe and makes us look like a joke.

Personally I wouldn't invest anything but never give up on your dreams dude!!

Why are the supports on the lift hill so cluttered together?

Hey Jake - wasn't specifically referring to your post, but the two after it simply referencing a product, and it's cost, without labour.
Oh i'm sorry - I didn't realise you were a moderator.
You did notice TWO of them continued the discussion here, right?
Lights can also come under construction - since lights are part of the construction...
Do you need a hand out of the backseat?
Oh I'm sorry Alexis. I had no idea that the coloured lighting along the track had nothing to do with the theme - considering discussion of the theming for this coaster was strongly condemned in this thread, one would assume light bulbs/coloured LED lights couldn't be discussed either as it's clearly theme related!
Can you kindly explain in fine detail the difference between discussing the theme of the coaster (which is related directly to the construction as per your logic) and the difference between the coloured light bulbs along the track are? I'd love to here your reasoning for the huge differences between theme discussion and construction discussion.
Or.. will you just delete my comment because you cbf being wrong and don't wanna be caught breaking your own rules?

Can you guys discuss the theming of the ride in the other thread? Yes lights come under theming.
