nah - iwerks gave us this great shot earlier showing pegs going up the hill far past the shotgun start

This is from 7th March, All that land ready to have something exciting plonked on it I'll keep posting photo updates as nearmap keep adding fresh satellite images during the installation. This is most likely way off but i tried to pick up and plot out the pegs by zooming right in and picking up shadows and objects that looked like the marking pegs

Just saw 'throwback thursday' on Facebook Adventure World is in very good hands can't wait for the VIP event hehe

another 6 lane racer is a little bit disappointing to be honest (if thats what it is) even if it will be the tallest/longest/somethingest in the world hopefully it has a big tunnel section with some big dips and bends and less 'racing' hilly section the pro is it can churn through the riders more quickly than a 2 or 4 man tube ride it will cannibalise the aqua 6 racer and make it a pretty tame poor cousin in comparison though (don't get me wrong though - still bloody good to have another ride)

could theme that whole area right down to bounty's revenge as pirate/sea/seacreature etc- , wouldn't take much either. the speed slides (another coat of paint and a creature at the top or the bottom in the pool) the aqua 6 racer (another creature on the ride somewhere) the shotgun (which kinda looks like a squid from above on near map) - (paint it? rename it) the new slide, the paddle boats, the bump boats koi pond ......... all these 3 pond areas could have some kind of signage, masts, replant, the boats themselves with some pirate flags or similar on them Bountys revenge - already pirate themed build something on the old castle site that fits in with the theme also ( a giant mast with flags?) only thing is the go karts are then kind of out of place and tacked on to the side of a themed land which wouldn't make much sense. also its a huge chunk of the park to dedicate to one theme although i think all those attractions could definitely tie in to the theme. oh and pump this music somewhere

all i know is all of us should be amongst the first riders

so um yeah sorry i clearly didn't look at the sign close enough i'll have to stick to the excuse that i had my 8 year old daughter pulling me quickly towards the shotgun. that sign looks nothing like i remember in my head lol

ah ok , sorry didn't realise. Im glad outback splash is getting that, hoping for something much better for AW re: hydrolift/flume - could be possible - the sign does say 'water attraction' not 'water slide'

There is now a sign up near the aqua 6 racer mentioning the all new world record breaking water attraction coming late september 2015 it has a green lizard/snake eye on it. Didn't have my camera on me , sorry. Not sure how long the sign has been there as i haven't been to AW for about 2 weeks. PS - Abyss was running very smoothly today, such a bloody good roller coaster PPS - Fast Passes got good use today, though they weren't as 'fast' as normal - seemed to have been an instruction to staff to let more people through the normal queues before letting fast pass riders through - found this to be the case on water mountain, shotgun and abyss today. go karts was 'fast' (though karts were slow...lol) PPPS - I find food prices at AW to be fine, though i work in the CBD so am used to being gouged for food. agree season pass holders only ps - OT sorry but have to add this as I know Mark reads here....... The guy with the long hair and american/canadian accent working on the grand prix carts is brilliant !

not sure, just thinking of the bogan element in Perth Maybe i am being harsh on my city

just wouldn't want it turning into a pseudo 'adults pool party' type event in the tents etc- ........if you know what i mean.... sounds great in theory with families and enthusiasts having a sleepover camping party in the park but there will always be an element that would ruin this type of event for everyone

yep exciting !! i might have to move my bed to the adventure world carpark with the amount of time i am spending there

Thanks Mark Really appreciate it, we will get there for opening (and leave at 7pm). Don't want to miss out on the fast passes. Keep up the good work PS - Cant wait for the big new water slide next year !!

loving adventure world, the park has grown very well. First time season pass member , does anyone know if you can buy fast passes at the season pass member entry gate? i have been about 20 times this season but yet to go at opening time and yet to try and get a fast pass. kids really want to get them at least once this season. thanks for your help , great site here i just found.
