Dreamworld have had scan you own photo kiosks for at least 12 months.

you use your photo pass, or if you’ve got an annual pass in the last couple of months the photo pass QR code is on your pass (or scan digital from your Phone)

all annual passes include photo pass.

kiosks are in the dreamworks cargo store (EFM), mick doohan store (MDMC) surf store (green room & Hydrocoaster) and the photo shop (buzzsaw). Haven’t seen it as haven’t ridden but imagine there is one for Gold Coaster in the store too

All current listed annual passes at dreamworld no longer have photo pass included.

They we’re on previous years passes but were removed in the new updated passes.

Just been on BuzzSaw for the first time in at least 4 years. For a one trick pony, it’s alright, especially when you only have to wait one cycle. But definitely not worth much of a wait. I asked the ride op the last time to ride had a decent wait time and he couldn’t remember it had been that long. So definitely not a loss for the park.

Im hoping that the southeast Qld lockdown won’t be extended past next Tuesday and I can visit for last time next weekend.

Can't really remember well but booking leave anytime from the 5th to the 20th should be safe enough. I forgot from last year, but could anyone remember if it was on during weekdays too?

They added extra days last year as a result of  huge demand but if lockdowns are still in place there won’t be weekday nights added this year.

Anyone have ideas on what they would like the 2 new mazes this year to be?

A maze theme to Halloween (Michael Myers) as there is a new movie coming out.

What about a maze themed around the purge movies ? It can provide a lot of jump scares, if the idea from the start is that they are hunting you and you are trying to escape them.

Spiral (saw franchise) will likely happen since we have had a saw maze in the past and alot of previous props would be reused.

No differences made to Rivals track over this years maintenance period. The experience is all the same. Smoother than AA ever was at least...

Not for my ride today, my ride was more rougher than Arkham and dc rivals today felt like the wheels weren’t round and as a local who has ridden it more then 40 times, it’s normally a very smooth ride. I’m there tomorrow will see if it any different.

  6. We rode the dc rivals today but had to be worst experience I have had on it, it was very rough and bumpy the whole ride. Don’t know if it cause of track condition or the trains wheels. It’s a shame cause it was a lot smoother when I last rode it in January and it only recently had it’s maintenance done.

Has their been any marketing or offical announcement about ‘Dingo Racer’? I didn’t even know that’s what it was called until tonight

    from https://www.ausleisure.com.au/news/aussie-world-opens-sx360-pendulum-swing-ride/

Aussie World has also revealed that construction is well underway on new spinning rollercoaster, to be known as the Dingo Racer.

Designed for all ages and will have a capacity of 960 people per hour, featuring seven cars, seating up to four people each, that simultaneously spins while moving around the track.

The rollercoaster car will reach a height of 14 metres before twisting and turning along the track reaching speeds of up to 72km/h.

Fay added “with so much more in the pipeline for Aussie World in the coming years this is just the beginning of our expansion and renewed focus on thrill rides for the older audience, as well as our family favourites.”

@Rabbit2014 What did you think of the ride? How does it compare to the Claw?

Hard to really compare the claw as it doesn’t go upside down but SX360 is a faster, more enjoyable experience, takes a lot of turns to finally go over the top but the ride spins very well so you are always feeling the speed, on the single rotation cycle once it goes over you get great speed but ride ends soon, on the 4 rotation cycle the speed is fantastic as it hits the top speed and holds it for the four complete rotations over the top and it definitely feeling like an extreme ride.

The harness is great ( I weight about 108kg) and it very roomy,  not tight and seats are deep. Ride staff are a little slow on loading and double checking harnesses but will improve over time.

I can’t wait to visit again in a few months for the opening of the next ride “dingo racer” the spinning wild mouse.

SX360 has finally opened, at the moment it currently goes upside down once but according to maintenance can go upside down 4 times if they want it to.

Rode last ride(sx360) of the night, staff put on best setting, 4 times upside down. Spoke to maintenance and staff and they asked for idea of when to use best setting and after talking they are thinking of running one rotation early in the day and four rotations later in the day.

I though they merged Dreamworld and White Water World into a single park but now it looks like they are demerging them by requiring guests to have a top tier pass to enter.

interstate visitors prices for passes are a extra $60 so it’s $179 for the 12 months
