I think theres also the question of "How do you theme a waterpark?"
And i think "Like Dubai" is a good way to answer that.Like Blizzard Beach.

Look I'll say this.
Bless them for trying.
So you would rather have wipeout run at the bare minimum? Look at who you work for you have had one ride run for 6 MONTHS + IN THE DARK!

As a graphic it's quite nice... as a usable map, it's quite not

Jeez I didn't realise the state the studios were in. Man I really wish they looked after the place even if they were not able to find someone to rent it they could have had some type of behind the scenes studio tour attractions to draw in fans of the show or just some television fans in general.
Why would we bother to look after the place? Do you really think a tour of the "house" that hasn't been on T.V. since 2014 ( and pretty much a flop since the turkey slapping ) would draw in the crowds we need?

Does that mean the theme of Six Flags Magic Mountain is magic?
Considering it's in California most guests probably see "magic"

Universal Studios has extremely well themed areas and rides based off tens of licensed properties. Six Flags and Movie World have poorly themed areas based off two licensed properties.
Which most of there rides are just moving seats in front of screens. I prefer a roller coaster in Australia which is better than anything on the west coast of the USA par maybe two (x2 and tatsu) then 2 sub par coasters and a bunch of simulators.

None that I can talk about until the QPS make it available, expecting another press conference some time this afternoon. Have had a few employees quit today which is completely understandable. Had to view the CCTV footage last night quite horrific.

Expecting press conference in morning. I'm off now shall be back on tomorrow. Once again horrible tragic day.

At this point pending further investigations the ride will reopen at some point down the track, but that decision could be changed at any moment.

Apparently merlin have closed all there rapid rides in the UK following this incident.
Just now, Jamberoo Fan said:Regarding the Intamin or not issue, I think the original ride was built in-house while Intamin has helped with improvements and maintenance of the ride since then such as installing a computer, providing new rafts & spare parts and manuals so the ride can work in conjunction with these new features. Simply, judging from the information I read so far, I think Intamin is involved with the ride but they were not involved in any way back in 1986 and they might be using that fact to distance themselves from it. In the end, time will tell - there will be a huge investigation after all.
I believe that to be the case.

Someone on reddit said that his friend works at DW and that there is a belief that the rope that circles the upper part of the rubber came off and got caught in the belt. Some of the photos suggest that the rope has come off so maybe?
Can't comment on this until police make a statement.

Aren't you normally one of the first on here to tell any other poster " If anyone has photos of anything new they will upload it."?
