  1. Maybe he should take a indefinite break, not trying to be mean.

But he is going to be exposed to stuff like this, since he is dealing with people who are a bit older and you are expected to act kind of like an adult here. I joined these forums when i was quite young, i was 13. Looking back at my older messages, i was not ready to contribute to a community like this.

Being younger and having a level of learning disabilities is only a recipe of disaster.

Considering if they did build one it would be the only boomerang in Australia since the demise of Australia's Wonderland, I reckon it would be a welcome addition for thrill seeking guests to see a return of a classic and popular roller coaster. As long as the theming is on point it could be very popular for park visitors.

Lets be honest with ourselves, why would we want it?

As i said, they are the things of the 90s and are incredibly outdated.

There are so much better coaster types that we could add that would be much more thrilling attractions that would not only grab the attention of the public but also people from oversees.

Also, this is modern-day Dreamworld, theming isn't the most important thing anymore. If we were to get a boomerang it would be a handy down and just placed somewhere with zero care.

Vekoma wants to move away from the image, they do not even make that arrow-stolen track anymore for their newer coasters.

I never thought i would have to defend my position on not wanting a Vekoma boomerang. It would honestly be a joke, and make our up and coming industry look like one too.

I had this thought for a while (Shuttle Coaster at least) except Dreamworld need at least 3 full circuit coasters I think before looking into this. Not including BuzzSaw. Now ToT is gone it isn't too bad of an idea.

A boomerang of that kind in my opinion is a step back for the overall industry, they are outdated and speak cheap 90s investments.

A modern Vekoma family boomerang might be a good idea, but that isn't the most crowd drawing attraction.

Get a high quality , immersive ride from a reputable manufacturer like Intamin and the public would soon lose its fear of rapids rides. However, it needs to be another park that actually installs it. Too many memories and the inevitable comparison to TRR would not be the publicity that Dreamworld would want. Plus it would not  be a good look on behalf of the four families that lost loved ones on the TRR tragedy. If not Dreamworld then what park? It certainly doesn't leave a lot of candidates.

Seaworld would be the obvious choice but does it have the land to support one?

Movieworld would also be a good option but would need a major shift in footprint in order to fit one in.

Other than that the list draws very short indeed. Adventure World in Perth would appear to be an excellent choice for an installation.

Similarly Funfields could also be an option in the future.

Beyond that , its highly unlikely.

Dreamworld, as has been stated before on the boards, should concentrate on either a new immersive family Log Flume or a Shoot the Chutes style ride.

However, if ANY park was to install a similar attraction as Infinity Falls at Seaworld Orlando then I am so there. This thing looks unbelievable!!

    "Theme Park Worldwide on Youtube!"

Also, just wanted to take this opportunity to express that how much does it suck that this will forever be the legacy of the ride.

The ride back when i went always had the longest queue in the park, and i had a lot of fun on it. It is a bit of a scary feeling that the ride that i have been on countless times ended with the deaths of four unfortunate people.

  5. Let me translate to the non-generation z's, he is referring to a meme for a horror game 'Five Nights at Freddy's' that was so successful that it had a particular long line of sequels and spin-offs.

I'm not sure on the meme he is referring to, i just know the game was popular a couple of years back.

I expect payment by the end of the month.

  6. I think a Gerstlauer Infinity coaster would work really well in Arkham Asylum's space, the ride does not need that much space which is something Movie World might struggle with.

Also, on the lines of IPs. It honestly doesn't matter what it is when it is done right. Wild West Falls is very loosely based on the movie, which i don't know many people who have actually seen that movie yet it is one of the most popular attractions at the park.

I know the wild west as a whole is a very known concept and easy to market, but the point still stands.

  7. I've started playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 recently, mainly OpenRCT2. I was just wondering if anyone recently has played it.

I saw it for nothing on Steam, so i decided to purchase. I was born the year after the game was released, so obviously i don't particularly have nostalgia for it. Never the less i am enjoying myself.

They need a reminder that that's not how Walt Disney succeeded!

You need a reminder that Disney is one of if not the largest company in the world.

As said previously, almost all of what you want them to do, they are already doing.

The people behind these parks are experts in their field, they know more than you in tourism and theme park management, what ever you think of, they have already thought of.

  9. You seem to have taken quite the time to write this all out, however i think you have forgotten that Movie-World and Dreamworld already collect data on guest experience, also the people who work their aren't just given the job after an afternoon working at Hungry Jacks, they already have a lot of experience in the field of Tourism. The vast majority of the things you listed, they already do.

Obviously you seem to be a bit disappointed over the changes made to the Scooby-Doo ride and the presentation at the beginning of Sky-Voyager, but no need to question their ability to run the park.
