  1. As said above, Guest Services has the say, but it can't help to take a doctors certificate green lighting you for Guest Services to sight. The theme parks don't want to have the added liability of injuring your injury which is why they are overly cautious. If your doc cert says something along the lines that the forces from the rides will not re-injure or stop/slow down the healing process it would help.

As said a million times over, GC Theme Parks lean on caution due to insurance reasons.

Impressive work, but why the rush to get it down so quickly when it likely can't be installed until Superman's next maintenance period? That can't be a response to the ride outages.

While I've made my feelings known about the location, I would hope that there are some plans for some light theming, at the very least through the queue line. September seems a likely fit for the relaunch, although there'd be no real urgency until the summer.

I think you answered your own question. Even if they are waiting until the next maintenance period. they likely have a window to strip, clean and repaint the track.

As for construction, we have seen how long deconstruction took, I assume construction would be slightly longer, but could be done similarly with SE closing for a couple days here and there for works that is better done during the day, needs longer timeframes or just purely, the skilled labor required won't work out of hours.

I know we often treat B&M as a pie-in-the-sky idea, but is there really some unattainable premium on those rides that Intamin and Mack don't have already?

It's been said on here before that B&M have been looked into but didn't fit the bill for what the parks wanted. Price wasn't the issue.

  4. It was mentioned on this forum in a random thread somewhere that the external company who ran the Sky Coaster went bankrupt. As for why no one else has stepped in, I guess that's up for debate. Potentially if a company goes bankrupt, there is a reason why and at the core of it is not enough positive cash flow.

Superman’s more intense, Levi’s more fun, and they’ve both got more soul/attention to detail than DCR does, but most voters’d still vote DCR just ‘cause it’s ‘Tallest, Longest, Fastest’ & more renowned than the others.

I would counter that Superman is initially more intense, but DCR sustains its intensity and doesn't let down until the brake run.

That’s underselling it. That’s also for the splash pad, refurbishing the entire stage/seating, pathways, retheming and a lot of licks of paint

Licks of paint don't even cost that much. Its the people licking the paint that cost a bunch.

Side note, I think the phrase lick of paint is now lost on me.
