Don't want to be negative towards what is going to be an awesome event. The only reason I realised it was a similar quote to Goebbels was because I looked up the quote to see if it was linked to any franchise that could potentially be a maze and the link to Goebbels was the first thing that popped up. I'm not suggesting the Movie World in any way intentionally did this, I'm just saying it probably wasn't the best quote.

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid thing to say.  My mother would say the same thing when she wanted to check if I had done my homework.  The same quote is used everywhere for all different reasons.

I can't help but notice that you reply negatively to every one of my comments on here. Sometimes with replies that make no sense. When it comes to the quote, if you look it up the first thing that comes up is its origin to Goebbels, also includes articles that ridicule a MP for using the quote.

  3. I can't help but notice that Movie World has used the quote "if you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to  fear"  on facebook when advertising tickets. This quote is very similar to the Nazi World War II propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels quote "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear", so probably not the best quote to use.

     Another 'imagination' theme.

Not sure why you'd want to buy annual passes if the mission is complete already but oh well, imagination..

I don't really understand the space suits theming for the Tower of Terror. I find it odd they'd use it on their main billboard. Maybe they could of used something more recognisable because I think for people who don't really follow theme park information regularly, its an odd image to see.

  5. From the top of Arkam, it look like coming off the brake run there are two ways the train can turn into the station. I don't know if one will be the maintenance bay or a second loading area but the two track lines would align with the fact Movie World said there would be two trains. Furthermore, from the looks of the length of the station building long ways it appears it would only fit one train in at a time per track line. (Sorry if what I said appears to be confusing)

  6. I just bring a drink bottle and all parks have bubblers. I know the Movie World actually has a cold water bubbler outside the Roxy theatre.

On another note, you can sometimes see families partically the ones of a larger size bring lunch from home. Most of what they bring looks healthy enough so if you wanted to you could just bring in your salad or sandwich from home.

I am not so pleased to hear of yet another soft drink refill station. It's cheap for Movie World to implement I know, but it's encouraging people (mainly kids) to drink far too much soft drink. Terrible for their health. Would be great to see some better alternatives offered, although it is nice to know there are free water fountains around the park. Just not presented in the same enticing way though.

Movie World doesn't dictate what parents feed their kids. It's also not a health centre, if a parent doesn't want to give their kid soft drink they won't. The new refill centre just makes it easier for guests and staff especially on big days and nights when people down the back of the park line up to get a refill. That time could be spent taking and giving out orders at a faster rate. With the new refill area they will be able to go faster. Really, it's a win win for the park and guests. Honestly, if parents want to give kids soft drink they will no matter where the drink staton is.

I could see it being $5 - same price as VR seems about right. 10 at most.

Although I don't like the idea of any charge, if they did put one on I think the way you suggest is the best option. I guess if they didn't you would get every fourth person saying to the attendants "can I wait for the back" and then some other people saying "I don't want to go backwards".

  9. I really hope that Dreamworld's attendance doesn't drop but I do worry about it with this massive investment in Movie World that VRTP is making. I think for a lot of the ride lovers the TOT and Giant Drop are what they go to Dreamworld for. I think that the new DC Rivals Hypercoaster will take the hype (no pun intended 😉) out of going and experiencing Dreamworld's massive rides. However, I do think Dreamworld appeals more to families with much more variety for families and I think Dreamworld need to look at investing in making the park even more appealing to families and making it more family friendly, it's their strongest feature at this point in my opinion.

Personally I love the DC Rivals name. I think it's very official, easy to remember and summarises the coaster's overall theme very well, especially since they have had to work with what they originally had organised (ie. Suicide Squad themed).

Its a first class name for a first class coaster

I love it as well TPG. I think the name sounds great and as you said it's easy to remember. I do remember suggesting it could of possibly had a theme change post the dreamworld incident and I was eaten alive by certain members on here.

  11.  A few pieces of track that will make up the brake run have been installed and although not clear in the picture one piece on the end starts to curve into what presumably will be a 'U' shape that will lead into the station.

Edit: I didn't realise @Theme Park Girl already posted pictures of this, sorry. Furthermore, I realise both TPG's pictures and mine look the same but I can assure everyone these are my pics.
