    wait...

    1. the original dates were JULY to SEPTEMBER
    2. they changed the dates AFTER it was closed.
    3. They added it onto some pre-existing maintenance period we have no evidence of
    4. You still think it was SCHEDULED.

Do you understand what "scheduled" means?

I'm surprised your still going on about it, given that it hasn't been mentioned for 3 days.. 🤔

But GL was scheduled for 22/7. Now it says 4/5. Where does it say "a few weeks" ?

Doesn't sound like it was scheduled to me...

It was. They changed the dates - similarly to what DreamWorld did with various rides (extend the maintenance, but remove the original maintenance period so it doesn't seem like it's down forever).

Hahahaha Ardent you dick heads. That is not they way to destroy a ride, if you are going to do it this way could've been destroyed behind the scenes rather than open to public view...

How could this have been destroyed behind the scenes? The entire point of the ride was to be out in the view of people, so there was literally no possible way it could be removed without people seeing. 🤔

Is this person an author with best selling books and TV shows?

RL Stine as mentioned above does fit all the criteria thus far and seems likely. The 50 million thing has me unsure about Paul Jennings.

Yes, he is a 'multiple best-selling author', and he has multiple TV shows. It would make sense if it is him.

    I have 3 ideas:

    1. A Dreamworks Character

    2. Big Brother (there has been a lot of action lately from members of the previous production team, hinting things).

    3. Kevil Hill (or something similar in that building).

most probably the guy diamond troll due to the glitter effects on the insta story

Could also be the night sky - and as we know, Neon Nights was just announced. Maybe a link between the two?

Well actually the day you posted this, hwsw, gd, Buzzsaw, wipeout were all closed. So 5 were actually open.

My mistake. I was just going off what the website said, which says only the Wipeout and HWSW were closed.

That's impressive, since your post was at 5pm - and we all know all the rides shut at 4... ;)

I think you could understand what I meant..

I don’t think I’ve seen more than 5 of the “big 9” open at once in the last two years. Some, like Tower of Terror, are often closed even outside of planned maintenance periods.

Even outside of the rides it’s become mediocre, the animal enclosures are increasingly sparse or empty. Gumbuya World has a far more impressive collection of Aussie animals at a much smaller park.

There's 7 of them open at the moment 🤔

Use this thread to share your thoughts on the "2019 maintenance" or "2019 updates" or similar.

Richard has previously outlined a desire to minimise megathreads. Obviously, maintenance updates tend to be a middle ground between off topic chit chat, and topical discussion, especially in today's world where some parks update their maintenance page almost hourly, and extend maintenance periods almost arbitrarily without explanation.

Do threads that are mostly made up of website screenshots, that go on for 12 month periods actually contribute value? Or would it be better for maintenance that appears to be outside of routine having its own thread for each ride that applies?

ie: Wipeout's ongoing issues would be well to do to have a thread about the uptime, and the downtime, the changed load requirements and so on, but posting an update about gingy's glider's being closed for a 7 day maintenance period isn't really news worthy.

Is this really what we want, posted every time a date changes???

    i genuinely don't mind it
