So...the park is soo strict on their safety now that the littlest thing is taken extremely seriously, the park isn't taking any chances what so ever. Yes the closures and pushbacks are annoying but its all for a very good reason. I know that the park is taking their time with the rides but they need to prioritise things such as the Tail Spin for example. So if your still upset, then go and run you're own theme park and see what it takes and all the problems you come across.

I have good and bad news!!
Good News:
- Tailspin is reopening 1/12/2017.
- LOG RIDE REOPENING 20/12/2017
- Escape from Madagascar reopening 8/12/2017
Bad News:
- Wipeout reopening 25/12/2017

Was down at Dreamworld tonight and the Christmas wreath was installed after the park closed, atm the arm is back on tailspin and is know being put together, wipeout was being worked on in preparation for the addition of the counter weights and gondola which are on site, trolls have been pushed back, minor works taking place on the eastern drop side and some good old rehearsals for the Christmas shows!! More to come!!

They Could very easily have a Jurassic world area at TRR, I'm mean they already have a robotic dinosaur and caves that are falling apart!!

Run Down from a segment just on 7 News with the CEO Craig Davidson:
- Log Ride Reopening For Christmas, Minor changes and improvements.
- More Simulator Based rides.
- More Custom rides and not "Pre Set", or in the words of Craig "Rides in a Box"
- More Rides for the entire family.
- Less focus on Thrills.
- Improving the park and not Drastically Expanding.
- More Immersive Attractions.
- Higher Quality Attractions.

That looks like a water pump to me. Adding onto that, the roof of the pump building has been removed. But mainly because Lift Hill Motors usually don't look like that!

The Construction works taking place at the Chill Out Zone will be an Amazing Temporary Attraction for these school holidays, which is currently under construction by the incredible temporary project company, GCD. As well as Kevil Hill WILL Be open during these school holidays and for the near future.

Not Sure if anyone has noticed or stated this, but the entire convey belt on the TRRR is covered in what looks like tarps, as well as the accident location is covered too, even though there is nothing to see.

The Zombie maze was a bit of fun for a couple of visits but after this Xmas period it's time to go. I'm with @Roachie, that whole area is just a great big jumble and has been for too long.
Some ideas for placemaking the area; Rip out Flowrider and put it over at WWW where it belongs. Move WWW DW entry south west out of the old TBolt Q.
Re-theme the area to a 'Sea-side boardwalk' with Carnival Games and food - only better food truck style quality. Theme is cohesive with Ocean Parade and DW could do it before SW does!
Shut down the Car Museum and put a classic 'Ghost Train' dark ride in. A perfect 'experience' that DW can afford and desperately needs. They already have the building after all.
Tear down HWSW and junk it. Put a Custom Woody in that would cover over the land expanse from the Arcade, Zombie, old T/Bolt Q, part of the Boneyard and existing HWSW footprint. Call it 'Thunderbolt'.
You are really missing the point for what Dreamworld Currently stands for and some of the things listed above are very unrealistic.

If you don't like the state of the rides in your perspective, than that's your opinion, But the Rides are CERTAINLY Maintained and are closed for your safety, to insure YOU don't get hurt or worse, on any of the attractions. Yes things do break, and it's a moving machine in which every machine has technical and operational problems.

And once again they changed the initial closing date to make it look like the ride hasnt been closed since the beginning of october.
The Reason for this closure is due to the Gear Box breaking, and needs to have it's Mechanisms completely inspected to find any other causes, but it's most likely water from the heavy downpour a few weeks ago. Adding on to that the parts arrive which usually takes a fair period of time.

Or they could just be replacing it, seeing that it looked like it was about to collapse in some parts!
P.S I wonder what they have/will do with the 2 characters they had in the Rapids and the Log Ride?

The works at old tiger Cub Kindy look like cabanas, seems as though it is a Cabana area in Dreamworld that's being incorporated into the Chill Out Zone.

Yes there are 3 Mine Carts, and it could possibly be waterslide parts sitting on a rack looking thing. They look to be a brownish/skin colour, and could new or old parts of A Waterslide. (Possibly 4-6 Maybe)!!

I just saw this and freaked out and thought this was the show times and appearances for the whole holidays but just realised that there is another one coming out for the holidays with all the extra shows, appearances and night event!!
