Got my first night ride on Leviathan tonight during Carnivale. So good! Really hauled through the layout and gave some amazing views. The lights on the zero car sadly weren't working, but the rest of the lighting package on the ride was great.
Incredibly slow one train operations. One difference from the last time I rode is they let two trains worth of people at a time in the station. Get to see the preshow twice!

I didn't notice the Wheel on there! Interesting.

Popped in the arvo to have a look. The lower section was marked as "Platform". The upper section was harder to make out, but it looked like "Water".

Claw was clearly having a good time!

2 looks like a solid spot.
Theming wise Aquaman would be a good bet if they went with DC. Could tie in with the sequel releasing this year. Wouldn't even need to repaint the track!

Nah, it's definitely the world's first Shaun the Sheep Roller Coaster!

Dragons are often portrayed as Serpentine in Asia, so it could work.
Or just take off the arms and legs and change it into a Sea Snake!

Finished their shift and getting in one last ride perhaps?
Would be pretty bad to do during park hours!

The cars likely weren't borked - they were likely either dispatching empty to prevent a cascade stop, or if the staff member was riding solo afterwards, perhaps they were doing something (filming perhaps?) and they didn't want any guests in front of them getting in the shot?
It was two empty cars, followed by a car with the solo staff member and a normal car with 4 guests. I didn't think of it at the time but yeah, they were likely linked in some way.
The staff member was one of the ride ops, and I couldn't see any camera equipment. It looked like an off the cuff moment.

The area for the Marvin ride has a pretty small footprint so I'm guessing it will be the same model

Popped in today to give it a last ride before the closure. The lack of cars was noticeable for sure with an advertised 90 min wait in the afternoon. Didn't help that some cars were being sent around the circuit empty. They weren't wrapped up in tape as the borked cars usually are, so it seemed like a recent issue. One of the staff members got a solo ride on one car for some reason. Was quite surprising, especially after seeing two cars get sent empty just before hand!
Most of the effects were down as usual, with the first screen being completely turned off. No Tv's on the lift, which I hear has been the case for awhile now. Ride is definitely rougher now, but I still enjoyed it.
Here's a few pics:

So I wonder if any of you have seen it appear across the country since or before then, as I had never heard of it before.
It was at the QLD State Fair when it was at Coomera in Feb 2021

Yeah, the coasters will go up pretty fast. I guess it all depends on the theming and landscaping.

I've really enjoyed my last couple of rides on Gold Coaster. I did a front row night ride at the last Halloween event and it was really fun, not too rough and gave some great views of the area.

Lots of theming and branding directly related to Dreamworks is starting to be removed from the area
It's mostly effected Kung Fu Panda so far:
Images of the Furious Five characters have been removed from Pandamonium's carts
RIP Mr. Ping
Gingy's Gliders but there's no Gingy
The background's gone from this Shrek photo op
Markers can be found throughout all three areas on the ground

At Dreamworld yesterday they rode Steel Taipan before the park opened, then went back outside to the park entrance and queued with everyone else for the park opening. Guess they did something similar for Rivals!

The rumour may have come from this Jaggs video, where he does some speculation by Superman. Would Surfrider even fit in there?
24 minutes ago, Brad2912 said:Meh. Not a single solitary member of the public would refer to Surfrider as a rollercoaster, nor would any park in the world market one as such.
Disney refers to their RC Racers rides as Coasters. Same ride system!

Not a literal zero car. Zero car is often synonymous with the themed front of a train (lead car?)
Interesting. That was slightly after the last time I rode it.
