Sure the sign is a few screws but I think the poles are concreted in and that's a little more effort to fix as once they are out they need to fix the concrete again.

Late to the party, but the green button just needs a clear plastic cover over it. not locked, just simple flip up and the Public pushing it issue will go away.

Pre-recorded messages are 100% ignored because they are put on repeat so much and always sound the same so people switch off when hearing them.
It could potentially work for Leviathan since its a closed environment with a captive audience, but honestly I don't think its worth the investment there. -

I would counter that Superman is initially more intense, but DCR sustains its intensity and doesn't let down until the brake run.

Licks of paint don't even cost that much. Its the people licking the paint that cost a bunch.

Have the tavern for food and drink, plus Levi/Trident/Vortex for rides, + dolphin pools

I must have somehow missed that downtime. I did go to the front for the first show so maybe thats why. I think it ran really well all day otherwise and had sub 1 hour wait times.

Honestly Plunge is identical to the travelling option, which i see around QLD often enough so I'm not really fussed about it and doesn't give it any "last" bonus points.

Yeah I was there from midday until 9pm and Leviathan didn't stop cycling that whole time. Trident did briefly stop, I'm assuming wind reasons, but more or less ran all day.
While I'm at it, the light package for Leviathan is amazing. The flashing when it goes down the drop is really eye catching.

I wouldn't have used the term, with or without connotation, as I didn't feel that it warranted the description. I'm on record that the lighting design in that room is absolute quality. The varying scenes \ patterns offer re-rideability that has never been offered previously, and I like it. It's one of the few positive changes MW has made to that attraction since it opened. It's a disco. dance party. MXPX kinda lends itself to that sort of theme too.
People read these forums before visiting to get an idea of what they might experience, so I guess I just felt that I should counter what I felt was an exaggeration of what the experience is like. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less. And certainly not warranting this entire page of replies.
It's equivalent to if I said "if you call MDMC a thrill ride, you obviously don't know what thrill rides are."

Anyway... I might've just had zero good rides on the 'New Generation' Scooby, but even the room with the upgraded lighting effects seemed like a let-down to me, as they appeared more like pitiful middle school disco lights, and they didn't give a shred of the 'laser show' vibes 'cause there was no smoke/mist in the room for the lights to reflect off. So IMO the upgrades in there weren't even a plus side to New Generation (though it could've been if they were able to fill the room with smoke/mist).
Filling with smoke/mist requires more than just plugging in smoke machines. The lights, although a great addition (as mentioned by @DaptoFunlandGuyand others) we still a quick, easy, cost effective update. Smoke would require the correct machines, the correct consumables and also the correct fire/smoke detectors, along with all the red tape and approvals that go with it. Likely also would need and engineer of some sort to figure out the internal wind patterns and fan away the smoke so it doesn't just pile up at the bottom but fills the room evenly. If you want it done right. With 1+ year of downtime, they have the luxury of time to source all the required parts to bring it all back.

Don't go to Disney to be thrilled, be thrilled to be at Disney. Its an enjoyable experience where you can just have a fun time.

For a really really dumb idea, split the track before the switch. Preloaded the switch well before the first train leaves the boost section. No hydraulics so no downtime between launches needed. That would help pump through. Also extremely maintaince intensive

It was mentioned on this forum in a random thread somewhere that the external company who ran the Sky Coaster went bankrupt. As for why no one else has stepped in, I guess that's up for debate. Potentially if a company goes bankrupt, there is a reason why and at the core of it is not enough positive cash flow.
