  1. Also, I don't see how it's the fault of DW? They followed manufactures guidelines, they advised the girl of what position to be in while riding. It sounds like her swimsuit (possibly way too thin?) got dragged up with the force of her going down the slide. Essentially causing an extreme wedgie. Also assuming the girl had no pre-existing conditions that the family were aware of. I once had a staff member almost yell at me because I didn't get out off the fully 6 splashdown area fast enough due to me putting my underwear back where they belong. No staff members around and no one noticing the blood seems a little exaggerated though. It will be interesting to see what comes of this and if any further details come out. I do find it funny that Shine, the ambulance chasing extraordinaire, Laywers have been called in for this case too.

Who says i'm making it up? It could very well be money saving considering there was virtually no interstate visitors for months, the parks were unusually quiet and students were at school - just a thought. You don't always need to jump down people's throats when their opinions or thoughts are different to yours ;)

Sorry you took offence to my comment 🤷‍♂️

It's not that he took offence to your comment, it's that your comment makes no sense and is based with no logical arguments

Haha, I only look after the east coast and NT so it doesn’t fuss me what the rest of the country do. It’s mainly the nsw/QLD border that is a pain as we run events either side and having staff on either side and logistically it’s a nightmare from pretty much October to March

Before @AlexB gets wind of a debate about daylight savings, I'll just say that I hate it too, only because it's not implemented east coast wide. Pick one and stick with it.
I guess this means @Tim Dasco gets to stay as part of the mainland then.

  4. The station concrete pad that used to have the turntable and a couple bits of trough are really all that remain. It's easy to just not build anything that required deep excavation over the old 10ft deep concrete pad and remove any chunks of concrete trough if you come across them while digging.
    But essentially

The project team would be well aware of what structures used to be on the site. (and what is still remaining)
