Wouldn't there be a huge weight difference between a train with a spinning car, and one without it? The launch speed would be greatly affected by the difference, no?
I also thought it was supposed to mean that 1 car was at the back of each train.

Curious to see as to how much DreamWorld will be charging for this seat, or if they will charge at all.

There it is (1st two photos), the shaded seating area looking pretty much complete, albeit relocated to Whitewater World.
Yet a few people thought I was only joking!
Do you ever shut up with the shaded seating? 😂

Orange and dark greys. Some kind of poorly executed tiger theme?
As said earlier, the colours in the render aren't the final colours for the coaster. DreamWorld said this multiple time in the comments on facebook.

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere, however the cart and track are certainly not staying the colour in the render.

Well if it has a spike I don’t think it is. I think blue fire is just a comparison since they also said it’s similar to SDD and CHS.
It is a clone. Take a look at the renders which the park have released. As @Skeeta said, it's a clone, simply with a triple launch system similar to the likes of Star Trek/Hunger games. They probably meant that it is the same type of launch system featured on rides like SDD.

What lightning issues did House of Kain have last year?
Possibly referring to the fact that in many rooms the lights were flashing so much that you really couldn't see any of the detail which they put into the maze. Was very hard to see what they had done.

I'm not a horror guy at all so could be well off but I doubt its Zombieland 2.
Zombieland is a zombie based comedy, not a horror and in my opinion wouldn't fit the bill. Either way I personally won't attend but hopefully the changes this year are improvements.
Didn't they have a Zombieland scare zone about 5 or 6 years ago?

Roller doors have been missing from DW for a number of months now. Not sure why though

There’s a mega thread you can check out that tracks all the post-TRR changes that were made.
I think push is referring to the fact that the geysers have been completely empty holes with exposed piping for the last few months, regardless of the fact that the ride has gone in and out of maintenance. Much of the audio is out of time, and many effects in the old town portion of the ride aren't working.

If it's the same company that does them at the Sydney Show, the $2 toasties will be most likely raised to $3 for this years show 😥
Yep, they're certainly $3 this year.

hmm. well, who is right and who is wrong??? Dreamworld (Ardent) or Parkz??
Wasn't this article posted at the beginning of the year, though? In May, John Osbourne announced that there was indeed two new attractions coming to the park - well after they said nothing was happening.

It certainly does look like Annabelle. If you look closely, you'll see baby dolls in one of the boxes - a prop which was heavily featured in 'Annabelle: Creation'. I believe the old Grandfather Clock is also featured in that same movie.

I'm quite excited for Winterfest (even though i'll be missing out on it entirely). I think it's a definite step in the right direction for Dreamworld, especially if it is successful enough to become an annually event.

Paradise Country’s Animal Nursery Is Going Wild These School Holidays
Paradise Country will welcome two adorable tiger cubs to the park these school holidays to the newly designed Global Conservation Centre for a limited time only.
They're adorable, but wouldn't the environment for them be.. not sufficient? Correct me if i'm wrong but Paradise Country is basically a glorified farm - is that really fit for tigers?

Thanks for the update!
So what rides are actually operating at the moment? Seems like a good time to go if you wanna see Tiger Cubs, that's about it!
Just The Claw, Pandemonium and Puss in Boots. Everything else is open.
Also, was at DreamWorld last weekend, and at around 10:30 or so, they were doing water dummy testing on Escape from Madagascar, as well as pulling the train slowly throughout the layout with two ropes. Is this a normal occurrence?

Is there enough room for three mazes? Scooby queue is the other go to location.
There was last year. Halloween and Jigsaw shared a shed, and Leatherface was in its own shed.

Curious. It seems like they're holding it a bit later than usual this year.
The escape room could prove interesting, depending on how difficult they make it. Though somehow I feel it might be more tailored for the younger crowds. But I suppose we shall see.
By chance, would it be possible to grab a link to those ticket pages?June 29 - July 13 is the school holiday times for QLD schools, so it works perfectly.

It's a wooden roller coaster, wipeout style ride and skyflyer replacement.
Not confirmed by any stretch, at all.

I remember hearing talks about White Water World closing down for the winter months. Is this still happening?

Personally, I think it's the dumbest coaster render i've ever seen. It looks like something a kid would make in Roller Coaster Tycoon. However, I do believe it's just indicative and won't actually look anything like in the render.
