  1. Also the reason the water has looked gross the last few days is because it has been dyed orange you can see that now thats the fountains have been turned back on again.

I’ll look around and and see if I find anything else.

  2. I was at dreamworld today I can confirm that it is pretty dead with most rides having a max one cycle wait with most being walk ons with the exception being SV and that’s probably because of some of the worst operations I have ever seen (and I’ve been to a six flags park) with only 1 cycle every 15 mins. On the the hand WWW was packed especially the wave pool but I think that’s because half the slides were closed which mostly include all the higher capacity ones.

  3. So seeing that dreamworld announced that they are spending 50 million dollars for new attractions in the next few years with 30 million for the coaster and 7 million for the waterslides. We are still left with around 13 mill for further attractions obviously there is also the multi million dollar ABC kids area expansion but I doubt it will be that much so what else do you think could be coming.

I think it will be a flat ride maybe to accompany the roller coaster in that section of the park or maybe some sort of dark ride.

  4. I had an update and didn’t find a dedicated topic so thought I would create one.

Last night drove past RW and the slide has gone vertical with what looks like the whole support structure complete. I couldn’t see an slide pieces from the M7 but I assume they are all there. There were also a few containers in the car park.

They have now also started to replace the WNW road signs around the area with new RW ones.9D39DC39-B079-4A63-8782-4EAE697B6936.thumb.jpeg.ed94a202ee50e047cc1ddc529e115cd4.jpeg

Sorry for the bad quality photos I took them quickly as we were driving past.

Wow this is going to be awesome!  I really hope they theme it well. It would’ve been nice if they had gotten a custom layout but i’m sure this is going to be great addition.

As fun as launched coasters are I hope that there are plans to eventually add a coaster with a traditional chain lift.

  6. Well it’s basically confirmed that they are getting a Nentendo land. With other rummered lands being Universals classic monsters, HP or FB expansions possibly JW if it doesn’t move to IOA. It also seems they are building a new hotel and city walk area.

Do we have a time line for it’s opening yet?

I’d guess possibly about late 2022 or early 2023 since they have already started, with the land clearing looking complete.

    Very exciting news from universal.

You misunderstood my message. The new owner was, in all likelihood, legally required to change the name of the park, whether they wanted to or not.

They could not choose to keep the name!

Do we know that for certain though considering other WNW branded Water Parks have kept there branding after being sold by VRTP e.g WNW Las Vegas.
