  1. no fucken way... Jet Rescue's theme and story is awesome!!! I totally agree with Dreamworld if they do that(after all TOT also has an "educational pre-ride").

swoooosshh goes the air as it passes over your head.... oh...and what part of the TOT queue is educational?? the exposed wires? or the fake turbine? or the "i waz ere" etched into every available spot on the wall
  2. I think an educational theme would give rider the wrong opinion about the ride. Sure it may be a coaster but who would want to learn stuff on one.

I reckon! Who would wanna learn shit!! What a waste of time! I heard DW is building a giga-coaster but the queue is gonna be filled with info about tiger conservation - f**k that! Im boycotting! Who's with me??
  3. No, 99% sure it is going to be in Po's Garden ;) It even says on the website and they told us earlier in the year that po's garden will be finished late 2012. I think this new attraction will be a well themed kids ride. And seeing as they are removing the dodgems and possibly domolishing the shop, I'm thinking of 2 well themed attractions :) (maybe 3?)

Has there been confirmation the dodgems are going??
  4. If you look at this post it states that the completion of demolition will be the 14th of December. Maybe a september opening.

Actually it doesn't say that at all. What it does clearly show is that there is a 6 month approval for demolition works to take place at the location. Demolition needs to be completed by 14/12/12. Given entire buildings can be gutted and demolished within a few months, i dont think Bermuda will take anywhere near that long. You will find that all building/demolition approvals are for a set time frame, be it 6/12/24 months depending on the project. It is quite feasible that demo could be completed by September/October, giving a 6 month lead in time for construction of a new ride for a Easter opening 2013.
  5. the local member for Southport was on the radio the other day, and had a few interesting tid-bits to add 1. She recently had delegates over from Dubai, who commented that half of SW was closed, and there were less attractions than when they were visiting 2 years ago 2. That there are discussions occurring with developers and SW about the possibility of building a casino 'within' the current grounds of SeaWorld - that will further attract the Asian tourists to the park/area/region.

  6. I just got back from Asia and I was going to go to Universal Studios but we decided not to. I hope to get back there some time.

wow! if that is not a post just for the sake of increasing your post count i don't know what is! While we are on the subject, i was going to go to Movieworld last weekend, but felt sick so didnt. Might go this weekend. Will let everyone know if it go or not later on.
  7. 1 - no idea but i would hazard a guess you would have to be 18+ for legal restrictions but could be wrong 2 - nope 3 - as you are going in winter, i doubt WWF is going to be on your itinerary so you cant just avoid that area of the park. Depending on what day of the week you are going - Get there 15 prior to opening time and i would do as follows: 1 - GL 2 - BWSS 3 - HSD 4 - AA: ST 5 - Lunch 6 - Scooby - the afternoon session of HSD will absorb a lot of the families so should be your quickest time to get on 7 - S:E - head straight there after Scooby and should still be minimal line - otherwise wait for the parade time to absorb some more people Should have you done by 3pm with a couple hours left for re-rides/Ice Age 4D etc 4 - Take it and hire a locker for $7 for the day, take it to HSD and any of the roving entertainment you want to record, then lock it up. 5 - check the thread about MW entertainment - there is a lot more roving stuff than i was aware of 6 - yes and no. Same ride layout, new carriages, queue and ride theme, and overall a different experience. Well worth a ride - the new trains IMO are a vast improvement
