I don’t think we have enough roller coasters to conduct polls like this

I would have thought you'd just do a random draw of coasters, and it is what it is, eg could be TNT versus Green Lantern.

DCR beats anything. The other coasters are just fighting for 2nd basically

Well I want to argue because there are definitely people that would like Leviathan over DCR.

Heck there are people that like Superman more than DCR which is totally fair too.

I would also look at the possibility of using the castle site in some way for a Flying theatre attraction.

Doesn't the Gold Coast already have a flying theatre attraction at Dreamworld?

This is a general comment, I dont mind if parks get default attractions, eg if a water park puts in a lazy river or some tube rides, yeah cool you kind of expect that at a water park.

Or if a dry park adds some dodgems or a disko as some filler.

But for major stuff....Hmm not sure If i'd get excited for another flying theatre, since all it would be is a different film and DW already runs different films.

Or a halfpipe at LPS. We already know it had heaps of downtime at WnW, and is finally getting relocated. But it's still just an 'okay' ride, not sure if we need a 2nd lol.

Overall the above post is pretty much on point though.

    DCR is also down today?

(Edit. DCR was down for 2 hours this morning. It did some test runs and they just reopened it.)

Can you please stop derailing every thread.

This is a thread about the current reliability of Leviathan, (given people are often travelling a long distance to try the new ride etc)

Nobody cares about your "twitter feed" of breakdowns on a different ride at a different park.

  4. Looks amazing, but onboard it feels like Doomsday if it were on a turntable.

The main gondola of seats just loops and loops in one direction, and then so does every other ring.

So you expect the ride to be full of really random movements like one of these.

Aerotrim - Astrotrainer - Spacetrainer » KTL Event Schmiede

But in reality it feels a bit repetitive and you're just looping and looping, and oh look we are still looping but now I'm on my side.

I've heard SFOT is taking theirs out already

  5. FWIW a few parks seem to have either a wave swinger or a carousel right in the main entrance.

Cedar Point and Phantasialand and Californias Great America are a couple of prime examples.

In my experience a lot of people tend to pass up these rides in the morning because they are too preoccupied heading to the big rides, and then forget to ride it later because it tends to be the main entrance of a park is in effect a dead end that you dont usually go back to.

I think the DW one will do alright because the layout of DW is such that you tend to pass the main entry area often anyway throughout the day.

I guess I'm just too analytical/pessimistic, but I don't really care if there's a screen with motion blur or a few flashing lights trying to make me feel faster, while in reality I'm just experiencing the average force of a railway train departing a station. On the off chance I'm able to go to the US at all, I'd just prefer to spend their exorbitant entry fees on an extra day at IoA, SWO, or BGT. I know you don't need thrills, I love Storm, JR & Levi at Sea World despite them being much less thrilling than the big boys at DW & MW, but I wouldn't pay the insane entrance fees that at best only get you admission to 3 parks that have a few of those and a ton of dark rides that do even less. If you like them, all power to ya, but they’re just not for me.

One of the main things about Disney is that there are enough unique ride systems that make it worthwhile, think rides like

    -TOT/ Mission Breakout

-Test Track / Radiator Springs Racers

    -Indiana Jones

    -Mission Space

    -Rise of the Resistance

    -Flight of Passage

-Soarin (Though I know there are more flying theatres, the original is the best imho)

I guess its hard to describe, but all of their rides are greater than the sum of their parts.

4 days at Disneyworld is a bit expensive, but I'd still day a day at Disneyland is unmissable, its one of the best one day park experiences you can get.
