Thank you for the PTSD haha. Many a day of reciting that script, along with the one for Journey in my memories...
For that you shall be punished with the following:
A hour on the rack, 12 days in the brink, a fortnight in the iron maiden, 30 days of non stop reality television and... another flogging. The good old days.

Why would you think it wouldn't be be Intamin supping the cart for its own ride?

And DW thought they would stop photos by asking the builder to remove the photos they put up. 🤦♂️🤣😂🤣

I am hoping if BGH does end up selling Village Roadshow it goes to an operator like Merlin or Parques Reunidos, if it is the latter WNWGC and RWS will be reunited, as well as Movie World and the other WB parks.
But I cant see a sale of the parks without the cinemas and studio, which I can't see Parques or Merlin wanting.
We have learn't in the last 15 years, the quickest way to destroy a theme park is for sell it to a investment /financial company.

I was about to write queue @ShakeShack but ShakeAttack reply beat me. Must of had a fast pass. 🤪

I give them credit for finding something that works at MW, that they can hang in a tree, in the first place.

@ShakeShackwhen The Dreamworld Flyer was built, all trucks/cranes were locked out during park hours not to interrupt the operation of the park. A lot of tradespeople start work at 5am and are off site by 1pm. MW could have worked in opening SE at 1pm with better planing.
(only mentioning DW because you like to compare them)

Standard dribble from you champ.
Point I'm making is, Village are/were being slammed for closing attractions for 2 months for maintenance, "but Dreamworld don't do it", yet I point out that they in fact do. Perhaps you can't see your bias, but it's draining and boring.
If you had a clue, you would know, I constantly get slammed for picking on DW.

MW only having 2 big rides open.
ShakeShack "It's fine"
ShakeShack " Look at DW"

Really feels like you're moving the goal posts here...
Superman and Batwing have both been down to aid construction of both Flash AND Oz. Extended more so than their usual periods. From what you can see, a large amount of concreting has been done around Superman's supports to aid with Oz, if this wasn't done now (possibly extending it's closure) then it would have had to go down again later in the year for it. Which would you prefer?
I'd hardly call Doomsday a major attraction.
Nobody is buying what you're selling.

Yikes, this comment didn't age well, did it?
Claw, Motocoaster, Kenny's Flyers, Shockwave and now Serpent Slayer are closed for 2 months or more this year...
This is the problem with Gold Coast parks. They think it is OK to reduce the customer experience, if the other park is doing it.

I can tell you it wasn't a knee jerk reaction. The relocation had been in planning since August 2022.
Sounds like around the time, SD issues came to light.

I vote MW replace DD with a Tagada ride.

This will fix all their problems. //s

OK. Not saying DCSV is the pinnical of MW theming. I'm saying it's the min. standard, I judge MW by. It's the preshow to the ride, what MW once did really well. It just turned out the preshow ended up being better then the ride and MW has given up on the area. I'm always surprised DC keeps signing off on this cheap theming.
@red dragingets it.
-
The theming for the Flash devalues MW as a theme-park. DC Super- villains is the standard MW set, anything less is a backwards step.

You release it when you have nothing positive to talk about.

It's an interesting foundation structure because of the combination a raft slab and pier foundation in one. Rivals has pier foundations where Leviathan was built on a raft slab.

I don't find it to be best practice because it creates maintenance.
The only element you need on the GC to start concrete cancer is air. Air contains moisture, salts and oxygen, all the ingredients you need for rust. The cold joint gives a direct path to the steel, so you have to seal it if you want to guarantee not to cause rust.
-
I can't see the point of adding cold joints to the footings. Seems like backwards engineering. 🤷♂️

It will be great interactions between queuing guest and riders. For the first time in Australia, you will be able to high-5 each other, as the train goes by. //s
