I heard the Eye is Staying Until January 2008. I also Heard it may go to Movieworld after.... I'm not sure if its true, i heard it from a contact of mine

Expect a new Shrek 3 Live Stage show to open up soon. Including characters of puss in boots, Fiona, Shrek, Donkey and others.. I'm not 100% sure where it will be opening, I will find out soon. With the Western show, its going to be in the Maverick Sound Stage. No further details are known. Anyone know anything?

It was on Channel 10 Late News. They had a small Theme park Attractions Expo on the Gold Coast. It basically was saying about all new styles of attractions to keep people coming back to parks, that we can expect in the future. They showed a company that does a "fast past" style of ticketing, a Indian based company that does water laser light shows, Roller coasters, Flying ones and also Half Pipe with a Weird carriage. Dreamworld was shown alot with the ticketing company, so It might ed up heading there, they didn't state anything. Some of the event people were American.

I would like to see a Wooden Coaster or mine ride of some kind, to go with the Theme.

Maynia has been canceled. Due to noise restrictions. They didn't think of it and have realized it would create complaints.

The EYE has re opened.... Today Sunday 29th.

Last night was soo long. it went for ever, dragged out. Yeah some people from the Behind Big Brother site had staff filming it then streaming it live, they kicked 1 guy out, but it wasnt the right guy. The lights coming from the front entrance were big, and lots of mist. I seen all the rides going, looked fun

I went to Movieworld today (bad mistake in holiday season) the park was PACKED....i haven't seen it like that ever before. Anyway, I went on Scooby Doo around 3pm and we had to wait for the elevator to take us up while in the car, then we went backwards we had to wait where that turn table is to start on the turns part. Every section where there was emergency breaks, we stopped, it jolted us every time and stopped us just after the second large drop too. a total of about 6 times. It was a total crap ride, it didnt flow, it kept stopping and you could see all the other cars doing the same, they had a serious problem the attendant said. Weird, anyone had that?

Got some low down today folks on 2 new slides going in this year on the old Thunderbolt site. Not much is said to be what type of slides and when they will open, but just assuming Spring/Summer.

The Vintage cars are re opening up behind the log ride.

Forgot to mention people, Wet n Wild will be opening 2 new Water Slide Attractions this year too. Not sure what it is. Its gonna be big though and make WWW compete. Also Expect the Halfpipe to open in September

That train is not that one from Southport, it was removed from there due to it being unsafe for children, like rust and stuff... Yeah Australian Idol is all the talk around the park at the moment. Its apparently coming into the park. A live Show version

Got filled in today about "The Simpsons" rumor. Its apparently looking at getting built where the old sound stage is in the western part. All the old looking buildings will be ripped out and replaced with a city, you guess it...... Springfield. Surveyors were inspecting the area recently. Anyone with any info please inform us all. I guess we just have to sit back and wait.

I wouldnt have a clue whats coming in there. I havent heard anything from my source.

I heard something about the Simpson's being involved with Movieworld soon, not sure how or where....but its some talk going around. Anyone know anything?

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the past, but I found out from a source that Seaworld is in the process of getting rid of there Cartoon Network Kids area and it will be replaced by Sesame Street. There slowly taking away props and theming and merchandise is on sale to make way for Sesame street items. Expect it to open in time for September Holidays.
