Jet Rescue is closed, so who fancies a go on Storm or Battle boats at night in pyjamas?

There's always SeaVip....oh, ok, well then, why not Vikin....ah, umm, there's always the Pirate.....shit. Ok, how about taking a nice trip on the Sky Wa...... ok never mind.

  2. I'm certainly not on the fence anymore.

I bought the original Wii when it came out because it was an interesting and new concept.

I used it a bit because of the novelty. Then I stopped using it for months until I had the ability to soft mod it. After that it got a lot of use again.

The Wii U, I bought a little while after launch. I think it was mainly because I wanted to play the new Mario kart and Bros games. A couple of other games popped up that me and my mate played through, but it has now sat dormant for several months.

The Switch, I honestly forgot that existed until you made this post. This console and associated games hold extremely little interest for me and I can't say that I'd be bothered to pick one up at any point. I don't even have a desire to try one.

Just curious for those who are familiar with coaster construction, would a copter be required to carry/lift the tallest parts of the coaster into place or would a crane be used for those parts?

A crane would easily do it.

    Worst case, there's always this

    Quote

The LTM 11200-9.1 is both the the strongest and tallest telescopic crane in the world, lifting up to 1200 tons (that's 12 adult Blue Whales). Its eight-part telescoping boom extends up to 100m (15m taller than the last record holder) and, with the addition of a lattice jib, has a maximum lift height of 192m, more than 50 storeys high!

Nothing in Australia has touched or come close to Space Probe 7s campaign.

Although for building hype and intrigue Bermuda was pretty good too.

    Both way before social existed.

I I think Holiday World's campaign for their Wingrider coaster was pretty damn fine.

I don't think j was around then or if I was, I wasn't into parks. What made their campaigns so great?

And for those playing along at home who like to do the respectful thing of crediting sources of information, here's the official website.

Yeah reckon I might just have to agree to disagree there.  Wonder Woman is really about as iconic as they come.

Fair enough and it seems you're right.

Quick bit of searching puts WW 4th behind Batman, Flash, & Superman on this list
    http://www.ranker.com/crowdranked-list/best-dc-comics-heroes

and 5th behind Superman, Batman, Joker & Robin on this list

Obviously a lot more iconic and recognisable than I gave credit to.

Yeah.. better stick with Suicide Squad instead then huh? Or maybe something like Bizarro, a theme that nobody has heard of?

    Meh.

I never said it was going to be themed to either of them.

I don't know if you can call Wonder Woman an uncertain theme though.  Even if the movie was a dud it'd still be a safe theme.  I've been saying since the start a big DC hero, either Wonder Woman or Flash would've been perfect, the fact that against the odds DC have turned out a good movie for a change doesn't change affect whether a character is timeless or not.

Superman Escape opened just before the Superman Returns movie was released and those two things are incomparable. The movie wasn't that good, while the ride is fantastic. SDSC is a great ride and is based off the film, which wasn't that great. So whether the theme is WW or not, if the movie is or isn't good, it won't effect peoples perspective on how good a ride is.

I mean uncertain in the sense that things like Superman have been around forever (as has WW) however there's a lot more movies/TV shows and general knowledge in something like Flash or Batman than there is in WW.

(Not saying Flash or Batman is the theme, just using them as an example).

It would be a shame if MW didn't take advantage of the WW hype that is about  to descend.  97% critic positive on Rotten Tomatoes, I'm at least feeling releaved that DC have FINALLY achieved a Masterpiece to challenge Marvel.

The hype train can derail pretty quickly.

MW may not want to attach an 'uncertain' theme to the best coaster in the southern hemisphere.

  9. I'm hoping the new character relates to the coaster theme.

I'm really hoping, like I'm sure @Zanstabar would be, the parade and coaster are

    All-Star

    Alter Ego: Olivia Dawson
    Occupation: Student, Adventurer (retired)
Known Relatives: Unnamed mother, Craig (brother)
First Appearance: JUSTICE LEAGUE ADVENTURES #13 (Jan 2003)
    Base of Operations: Apex City

All-Star joined the Justice League (animated style) as a temporary replacement for the Green Lantern John Stewart, utilizing the power of the "star-charm", an artifact belonging to the evil Weaponers of Qward. With youthful exuberance and the powers of flight, force blasts, and the ability to levitate objects, All-Star aided the JL against the Qwardians, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, Grodd, Chemo, a force of Bizarros patterned after the League, and climatically, Brainiac, who had mentally enslaved the Green Lantern Corps. After a crisis of confidence, All-Star saved the day... at the cost of her powers. Nevertheless, Batman himself assured Olivia that she is, and always will be, one of them. the world believes All-Star dead.

^but as Joz said, a new flat ride might be a better place to start, and wouldn't be much more expensive than moving Surfrider.

True. I don't really care what they put there, but I really hope we don't have to wait til 2019 to get something into the park......UNLESS it's a giant coaster covering the pirate ship, viper and water park land. Then I'll wait til 2019 :P

@themagician - confirmed by anyone reputable or just another assumption being presented as fact by a poster on these forums?
