  1. I can just make out some of the detail, but that is with the image taking up the whole screen and zoomed in beyond reason.
  2. TPSN has posted a pic of the menu board from Dirty Harry's.
  3. @skeetafly Do you happen to have an idea about the likelihood that some of these applications going ahead? As you can probably guess, I don't have any experience with these applications. I would love to see these be true, but at the same time it almost feels unrealistic and illogical. Could this really be too good to be true?
  4. So much stuff is happening, left right and centre that I don't think I can keep up for much longer
  5. Hey @skeetafly, quick question With the "New Attraction and Lakeside Precinct" application, is the new attraction anyhow related to the rollercoaster application? Or could we possibly be seeing two new additions to the park?
  6. I've never really been to an excellent putt putt course regardless. What would even constitute a top-notch putt-putt experience?
  7. Just a quick thought I had, and I would love to hear other peoples opinions on the matter. Seeing as how it appears some form of lodging will be at the Oxenford parks, could we possibly see a fully-fledged hotel appear on the horizon? If the Entertainment Precinct is anything like CityWalk or Downtown Disney, I think this wouldn't be so far-fetched. A campsite could also be a pretty low-risk entry point IMHO.
  8. Wowza! Was just checking out PD Online and while it's not directly related to the "World Class Attraction", it is something worthwile. I managed to find a site plan attached to the landscaping application, and it turns out that this tree works appears to be a campsite over near Paradise County. I would link to it, but I'm a little unsure in case that goes against the VRTP's or Parkz's rules. However, this information is publicly available on the PD Online site for the Gold Coast.
  9. I'm not trying to imply that this concept is what's happening, but it's quite clear that MW have dabbled in something that fits quite lot of the criteria for these new developments.
  10. Could this be what you where thinking of? These were commissioned back in 2011. While they do seem a bit old, it's quite clear that Movie World have looked at some form of entering precinct containing some form of lake EDIT: Just realised that this concept actually ticks off a large amount of the developments. It's situated on a section of the old car park, it features some form of lakeside development, as well as being an entertainment precinct. The future is looking bright.
  11. A good simulator can be really enjoyable, but even the most mediocre ones can be painful at times. IMHO, there's a fine line when it comes to simulators and I'm not too sure whether MW could pull it off. My dream Mad Max ride would be a smaller RMC that predominantly hugs and interacts with the terrain (ala Nemesis). It could be a great coaster that not only feels like a true-to-life experience of the films but also features that "madness" that the franchise is known for. Whatever they do with that franchise, I should be content with it. As long as it's not bloody Fast 'n' Furious Supercharged
  12. Wow! That'll be sure to set a new standard for the stunt show industry!
  13. Think you could maybe decipher that statement for us?
  14. I'm not a fan of motorsports either, so the Brock Museum isn't going to be a drawcard for me. I'll probably check it out once it's opened, but I won't drive me to renew my pass. What I am curious to see is the changes made to the Cyclone, and to see whether they've made the ride into something tolerable. Probably been covered to some degree already, but it's only just dawned on me how much the Food & Beverage options have improved lately. We're getting a sports bar, which already sounds promising, not to mention Dough Bros and the Green Bean. It may sound pathetic, but I'm more excited for the food offerings than these upcoming attractions
  15. To be fair, that segment was completely copied from the Dreamworld website and the grammatical issue is sitting there in plain sight. Not exactly the most professional look...
  16. I'm curious as to what the music would be. Would we be hearing some generic stock music? A feed of the music playing in Ocean Parade? Seeing as how no one else has posted this... 17. Pretty sure the soundstages, while under the parent company of Village Roadshow, are a completely separate entity from the parks. Even then, you've got many major international films slated to be filmed there as well as the soundstages being utilised as an event space for the Commonwealth Games in 2018. I'm pretty sure soundstages can be ruled out. Unfortunately, not every ride is designed for each individual. Justice League isn't a must-ride for me but I know that when I go with family, the younger kids enjoyed it just as much, if not more than some major attractions. Even if this new attraction doesn't suit your tastes, you must surely be excited about the ongoing care and development in the park?
  18. Seems like you've left out a lot of the cookie cutter coasters, but I'm curious as to why you rated Green Lantern as being worth travelling for? I don't think it's a bad coaster by any means, but it's not exactly original.
  19. That was one of my thoughts when this news first dropped. There isn't really an international standard for a "world's best attraction" since we all think different attractions qualify. Some may find " Escape from Gringotts" to fit the description while others may see it as "Twisted Colossus" or even a Mega-Lite. At the end of the day, at least we know that this new coaster isn't going to be horrible.
  20. I thought you might have said that due to some more logistical reasons (ie budget), but nevertheless it's quite interesting to see your stance. I've only been on one B&M, that being Hollywood Dream at Universal Studios Japan, and I can't say I was overwhelmed. I much prefer ejector air towards floater, so I'm almost inclined to say I agree, even with my limited experience
  21. Just out of curiousity, why have you left out B&M?
  22. So let me get this straight, one of the VR Parks on the coast are going to receive a world class attraction? I honestly don't know if this is just marketing hype or something to truely believe in, but djrappa's statement makes me think it's the later.
