  1. That's what I was thinking. Maybe it is not what we think it actually is. Maybe it is the kids driving school, but maybe it is more than cars you drive around in. I'm probably totally wrong though and it is what it is.
  2. I can't see why they would remove the outside lane. That would provide next to no extra room. I honestly don't see how they can add an extra slide to this tower. There is no room on the RIP side of the tower. The only room is on the level of the BRO at the far end. But that goes out onto the pipeline plunge and a small grassed area, which I don't think provides enough room for a slide (as shown by Gazza).
  3. Yes, Tijuana Taxis. Which are right next to the building.
  4. Is there any sign of where the new Food Outlets and Coffee Shop will be going at Dreamworld/WWW? Or have both parks not started work on anything yet beside Wipeout and the fences and machinery underneath RIP/BRO tower?
  5. Dreamworld have removed the scheduled maintenance list for WWW so maybe they are making changes because they are adding a third slide to the RIP/BRO tower.
  6. With WWW new slide, it could be a slide that had originally planned for, but was delayed to the finical crisis. This is what it says on Wikipedia: "In October, 2007, WhiteWater World submitted a development application to the Gold Coast City Council to extend the water park. The main feature of the application was a 25-metre (82 ft) tower featuring three new water slides: two Mammoth slides and a Tornado Tantrum Alley. The expansion proposal also featured a lazy river and a large water play area. After two years, the application was approved by the council." So maybe we might be seeing this tower and one of the slides they had planned for. Or they have got something entirely different and this could be coming the future. But is something like this possible before September.
  7. I remember in 2012 when I was there on a couple of occasions I saw a man wearing a security shirt, driving around on a golf buggy with security written on it. It seems like they aren't doing this any more.
  8. Land reclaiming is complete. Now we play the waiting game.
  9. I personally don't see how they could add another slide to this tower. Oh I haven't noticed them signs before
  10. it was on the 2014 in dreamworld forum
  11. Maybe for a new slide, or they are expanding Buccaneer Bay
  12. I know this doesnt apply to MW, but when I was going past Wet n Wild this afternoon I saw a digger and other work men clearing some land to the right of the constrictor, just behind Buccaneer Bay. Does anyone know whats going on?
  13. I would also say WWF stays closed because the cameras will be pointless, lights on the themeing will make it seem crappy and people can easily get out and hide.
  14. Is the water heated at all, or is it just the natural temperature?
  15. Did you see any noticeable changes to the ride since last time? And is Sea Viper back open yet?
  16. I also agree that this event if more particularly focused for adults. White Christmas is aimed at kids and families and Fright Night is focused at teenagers. I think this could be a really good addition to the parks evening events. But as it is new this year they will really need to advertise, so people know about it.
  17. Maybe they will add some water mist sprayers above each seat, so at certain points you get a bit wet. Anyway, why was Fluffy and the water removed from the ride. Was it for similar reasoning of the Surfrider having the spray removed?
  18. For those people who don't watch the video they are: Repainting everyone Putting new seats in place Changing the entrance queue to make it quicker Moving the viewing area closer to the ride Adding theatrical elements to the ride
  19. Since I said this Dreamworld haven revealed some of the changes they are making on the Wipeout
  20. Dreamworld's Minor Mayor has been announced and he has given some info about Wipeout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO_t0WBOmPQ
  21. I agree. An example is during the construction of the Storm Coaster. Sea World never posted any photos of it, until a week before it opened. There have been times when they have given hints (Such as when GL was being constructed, Movie World posted small separate images which were parts of a puzzle). I don't know if other theme parks across the world post images during construction, but I think the GC parks should. Even if they only ever post one or two, it would be good to get some hints from them about what is going on and what the attraction will look like or be. I do hope Dreamworld give some hints about what their two new rides will be in the next month or so.
