  1. If you’re referring to the wall of Tiger Island, it was damaged on the Christmas Day tornado
  2. Doomsday’s ‘closed from’ date has now been removed. Marvin’s maintenance has been extended by a month. The Green Lemon is having issues again. And Studio Showcase is closed again (it was closed last Saturday as well and heard it’s due to lack of staff).
  3. @Brad2912 it’s for autism awareness month, so it doesn’t isn’t yuck. If they used this day to day, then maybe, but for raising awareness ‘yuck’ shouldn’t be the word used. But this shows the capability of the lighting package for the ride and I think they could do some really cool stuff if they just mixed red and yellow for this. And good on the park for investing in a lighting package for the ride, something they’ve only ever done for Rivals at the park
  4. Movie World have shown off the attraction signs lighting package at night. Kudos to the park because this is the best attraction sign they’ve done in a long time RPReplay_Final1713393894.mov
  5. I think so! I’d say they were definitely pushing for the QLD holidays, but NSW is still on holidays for a couple weeks. My guess is they’ll be officially opening it Friday April 26.
  6. My guess is the photo has been over saturated. I’ve seen photos of the statues on fan pages and they definitely are bright, but not this bright
  7. Disneyland Paris has announced that in 2025, coinciding with when World of Frozen opens, the park will be renamed from ‘Walt Disney Studios Park’ to ‘Disney Adventure World’. They will also be transforming to the entrance of the park from a movie studio to all-new design paying homage to historic movie theaters. They will also have entertainment on the new lake they have been building, which will be called Adventure Bay. https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2024/04/disney-adventure-world-disneyland-paris-reimagines-second-park/
  8. The park has just shared on their socials that 4pm today is the last showing for Scoob and the new show will arrive tomorrow, but they haven't yet revealed what it is.
  9. Movie World have shared another update for the ride stating testing has been happening with Intamin, and after their inspections and testing, they will hand the ride over to the parks engineering team to commence their commissioning which includes the addition of harnesses and seats. And it’s opening very soon. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5mcFPYyrPH/?igsh=MWYyejZ4NHlweHA3Nw== Here are some screenshots from the video they shared
  10. I think it’s safe to say this is the end of this iteration of the vintage cars
  11. Same, but it took them many many years to decide to do this for AA and it felt like they really didn’t want to. I believe it was ‘That’s so Mid’ that shared on their socials a look through the hole in the Scooby alley gate and there was no sign of any construction happening in that part. If they don’t do something to it they’ll need to construct a gate there or something to ‘hide’ that alleyway so you ‘can’t see’ down there so it ‘doesn’t distract’ guests from their multi-million dollar shiny new ‘world-class’ land.
  12. Not that I’ve seen or heard, I think so far it’s all just been assumptions
  13. With the discussions around Flash/Superman/Batwings maintenance schedule in the other topic, it sparked a thought. When Superman has ever closed for maintenance, they fence off the pathway to access the ride. When AA was still around, they would open the back alleyway so that guests could still access the ride. With the main entrance to WoO set to be from the Superman courtyard, do we think they will have a new plan for how they complete works on Superman so you can still access Wizard, or will they use their plan from AA and just open up the alleyway? If they do go with this plan, that would (surely) mean they will theme that pathway to creat that immersive transition into the Land of Oz. Which then makes me think they may have a second entrance to the land that they’ll keep open if they go to the effort of theming it. And if everything I’ve just said isn’t true, then that’s a massive swing and miss…again. But I have some faith in village that they’ll score a home run.
  14. Just came across this video from Mitty Theme Parks showing the land has already been demolished to make way for the lazy river and dodgems. I believe the park is now closed for the cooler season, so we probably want see anything until the area is complete when the park reopens.
  15. No issue with the stairs at all because they’re expected on any coaster. And I don’t have an issue with the platform, was just surprised that they needed one and how much it stands out when in the park And on Tweetstryd at Wildlands (the only other location this coaster is located at) they have the stairs on the inside, so I wonder why they’ve had to change it for this one
  16. @Ogrelatest video shows they’ve installed the evacuation stairs on the Kansas Twister lift hills, but unfortunately they’ve also installed a platform connecting the two Which can be clearly seen from the parks entry and Superman plaza. I can understand why they may need to have it, but it’s definitely not the best look to have.
  17. The park have shared this behind the scenes video of the installation of the train. And credit where credits due, this video is awesome. Well done to MWs marketing time https://www.facebook.com/share/v/BDbzBaAM4J1dse3c/?mibextid=WC7FNe
  18. It’s great to finally see Village marketing actually doing updates like this. It’s like they’ve released how much hype it creates for the competition down the road and want to get in on the action. But you’re right @DaptoFunlandGuy if this is a taste of what’s to come for WoO, that’s very exciting. Hopefully they were switched on quick enough so they were able to capture content of the coasters installations.
  19. Great to hear of those changes and improvements since your last visit. We were sceptical of visiting again purely because of whether negative things we’d heard about the park and because there was less to do than the last two visits. Have you ever done the domes at night? If you (or anyone else on here hasn’t) I highly recommend you do. I’d actually say doing it at night is better than in the day because the crowds are lighter and it just makes it even better (especially at 8pm when the misters come on) This has improved so much since my last visit. Last time it was almost falling apart, but since the developments to the east of the gardens have begun they’ve invested in this area How incredible was this! An attraction within itself. If you are ever just passing through Singapore, it is absolutely worth just heading to terminal 1 to purely see this
  20. Thankfully for us, this was actually the only disruption the effected our plans. I think other rides did go down throughout the day, but because of the order we did thinks we didn’t feel the effect.
  21. We were planning on riding it for that reason, but it when down temporarily and by the time it had reopened we had to go.
