Just out of interest, would it be possible to add cameras to the Giant Drop as done on the Batwing Spaceshot?

I think he is trying to say that the park looked a little runner down and needs a makeover in some areas. I think a few minor things DW need to now include: - Repaint The Claw - Clean River - Replace a few signs in MDMC I am sure there is plenty of other things I haven't included, but these are just a few minor things I have noticed. There are the obvious things that a few of us keep on saying like replace Eureka Mine Ride and give cyclone/log ride a makeover, but these are major changes that can't be done in a couple of weeks. Any other minor things that people think they need to do?

I thought last years Fright Night was great (it was the first time I had been). The Evil Dead and Walking Dead Mazes were great. The stunt/circus show was pretty good as well. The range of characters in main street was also great. I don't think they will reduce the price, but I would expect we will see the same number of nights as we ended up seeing last year. I'm sure the theme and mazes will change, but I do hope they have a Walking Dead Maze again.

I have seen him on Wipeout, Shockwave, BuzzSaw, Shrek-o-round and Gingy Flyers He was great on Wipeout and Shockwave. He really uses the microphones to his advantage and makes the ride more enjoyable.

Yes I have, every time I go I look out to see what ride he is operating. He always gets into all the rides, with his different voices and makes everyones day enjoyable.

I totally agree. It is great to see them repainting/changing signs to give them a fresh look. With the re-theming of Wipeout, and potentially another popular ride, maybe Dreamworld have had a change of thought and are starting to bring life back into the park.

Isn't an Air Race 8.2 basically the same as Pandaemonium (or are you being sarcastic?).

To the people who went last night, was AA open? EDIT: Just had a look at MW maintenance and the opening date of AA is yet to be confirmed.

I do hope that Dreamworld don't get a Powersurge. I see that as a ride that are at carnivals. It is at the Ekka and Gold Coast Show every year. I don't see it as a ride which should be in a theme park. I'm really hoping for something different, something that hasn't been seen on the Gold Coast before.

I'm sure there would be an adrenaline rush when riding it. I find POVs of rides don't always do them justice. Yes the video may not make it look great, but I'm sure if I went on it I would want to ride it again. Just my opinion though.

In this photo of yours, what are these pipe type things coming out of the wave? Are they for water to spray out?

They might do another coat of paint on the counter weights once it is all in place.

downunder196 is right. When I go to buy tickets I can pick these dates.

Could you also have a look around to see if there is any sign of where the new food outlets are going. If you can could you please try to get some close up of the gondola. And maybe go up the queue of cyclone (I think that would have the best view) to see if any slide and/or ride parts have arrived out the back of WWW.

I would say last night people were put off by the rain/storm we had (wasn't major though). And I wonder if AA will be open for Carnivale tomorrow night? As maintenance is scheduled to finish today.

Ah ok, thanks for that. How much do they charge for them? I think they should have some on SE, there would be some great reactions on that.

I'm sure they have done something inside the wave. Why go to all this effort and leave a part of it out. They might have just replaced them or removed them completly.

I would like to think so. But I would have thought they would be the last thing to be put in place.

The gondola has just had a fresh coast of paint, by the look at the photoa. It was said that they were going to be re-apolstered. So now they just need to finish the pathway, add water and test it. That can be done in a week.

Well I was wrong then. It looks really good with the repaint. Can anyone tell if the harnesses are any different or is it the same system? Maybe they will have it ready for Screamworld.

Now that the arms are installed, I would say over the next couple of days the motors will be installed and then by the end of next week the gondola will be installed (or maybe I'm being I hopeful). I don't think it will be ready by screamworld. Wouldn't they have to do a couple of full days of testing to make sure everything works.

I personally don't mind the colour scheme. It adds characters to it. I do agree however that it might have looked better if it did blend the colours, like they have done on the wave.
